the food was so numbly addicting. do not underestimate the spice at this establishment. my family and i are huge spicy food enthusiasts and the food had our taste buds numb and had us sweating by the end of the meal, in the best way possible. highly recommend the wontons in chili oil, spicy beef noodle soup, lotus root side dish, the pork skewers.
the restaurant is order via QR code and on your phone. the white lights they use in the restaurant kinda made it feel like i was in a lab or medical office since it was so bright. every single table was filled up on the Friday evening with families waiting to be seated.

Been here a few times, trying a bunch of stuff—rice noodles, regular noodles, appetizers, skewers, and even some new menu drops. If you’re after that real Sichuan/Chongqing comfort food vibe, this is the spot.
I’ve ordered all the rice noodle dishes and most of the noodles. Personally, I’m team noodles—they’re just better IMO. The rice noodles are still solid, but they do get a bit salty toward the end. Definitely worth trying both to see what’s your jam.
The appetizers are all pretty solid, but just a heads up: the spicy lotus root and BBQ potatoes bring serious heat—might be too spicy for some. The steamed pork ribs with sticky rice are pure comfort food, like something my grandma would make.
Only downside is the parking—it can be rough. Some people park over the lines, taking up two spots, which doesn’t help. There’s a lot across the street that works, but you gotta detour to get back.
Overall, this is hands-down my go-to in the DMV for Sichuan/Chongqing food. They keep adding new dishes that are hard to find outside China, so if you’re into real Sichuan flavors, it’s worth a visit!
Parking: limited parking spots, you might need to park at the mall across the street during busy times like weekends.

Y Noodles is a pretty good Sichuanish style noodle and other foods place. We got the paocai which was solid but not outstanding. I got the 辣子鸡面 which is like spicy fried chicken in a spicy chili oil sauce. It was also pretty good and a bit spicy (note I have a high spice tolerance and was totally fine with this but those with sensitive tongues be warned). My SO got sour pickle rice noodles which was the best thing we ordered imho. It was filled with lots of different veggies. It was a bit oily though which makes it heavier than expected. The chili oil eggplant was also oily and heavier than expected. The 鱼香 pork was pretty good. Glad we ordered this to have a flavor that was different than chili oil. Overall, pretty solid but I think Yu Noodles is better.

One of the most authentic Chinese places in the DMV. Food tastes like home, prices are good, fast service. Will be coming here as long as I live here.

The food was good and it was cheap. Very authentic tasting, if you are Chinese you will like it. It reminds me of the food I ate in the street side small restaurants in China. I ordered the chili oil wontons and they came with a lot for about $9, a luxury nowadays. I will take off one star because they charged me extra for a fee and didn’t tell me what it was. Kinda shady and I don’t like that. I will be back though and try some of their other foods. Recommended for Chinese international students at the Virginia tech campus.

We ordered two appetites, one beef noddle soup and two dishes of pork. Most sauces taste the same. The two dishes of pork are quite small. We probably won't come back again.

Have been meaning to try this place for a while as we have read good things.
The food did not disappoint. This is honestly some of the most authentic Chinese food in the area.
Pictured are the pork, clear noodles, chicken noodles, and duck soup.
Be careful with spice levels as even 1 pepper for the chicken was fairly spicy.
Small dishes, although they look the spiciest, were well balanced; not overwhelmingly spicy.
The duck soup was my favorite, savory, not spicy. Reminded me of childhood.
Will 100% be back as the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Thankful we live so close!
