I am a Biryani lover, I searched for a close by halal restaurant and i found Z kabob, I ordered a chicken wrap and a biryani, guess what happened? The biryani was awful? small bones in the rice, the taste was very bad, rice was cold and chicken was not fresh, honestly saying this (I took two spoons of biryani and threw it in trash can), I was very disappointed.I was about to bring them back that biryani?

The food is worth the price!! Tried the butter chicken and also the chicken curry. The owner gave my coworker and I two free chicken Salonas (the pastry with chicken in it). We were very happy and they were so tasty and delicious that I got two more to go! Very friendly service for sure and that food mannnnn. It’s good!

I went with my family here for the first time and I was extremely disappointed, the pictures in the front are so misleading and the rice came in a plastic container not even a plate. I tried some of the gyro and it was so dry. The food I also so overpriced, who has the money for 7 dollars for ONE side. Do not recommend, the service was rude aswell

Ordered Lamb over Rice, overall very tasty. Now, meat was more chopped than sliced which is different from most places and a tad drier. However, it was still very good. Sauces were good had a mild spice to the food that built up over time but not too spicy. Good amount of food for the money IMO.

I've been coming to this place for nearly 10 years. The decor has had some issues, but has recently been updated -- also hygiene has also improved overall. Make note that this is not a full-fledged restaurant-- so nothing fancy, leave that out of the equation. However, food is fantastic, tasty, fresh and authentic. I love the gyros, and the many other dishes as well. The naan and veggie samosas are exquisite. Too many other eateries like this have been "Americanized", with short-cuts and poorly prepared knockoffs -- but this one serves real dishes from Middle East cuisine menu. Service is good, but then they are usually very busy! The head cashier knows me by sight, and my stomach knows what it likes -- and I recommend you visit!

This was the worst Indian food experience I’ve ever had.very disappointed! l got lamb kabob and fries, fries was dry it looks like it was from one week before and lamb kabob was not cooked properly .I wil not be going back to this place. Poor quality, food not fresh and over priced. Don’t waste your money.

Customer service is horrible hereThey would not allow me to order a simple chicken & lamb wrap. The lamb and chicken taste good but they always treat customers who come back like trash.

Z kabob has had its up and downs. However recently the food has been very delicious and the place looks a lot better than before. Hot and very fresh .

This was the worst Indian food experience I’ve ever had.very disappointed. I got the chicken kabob platter and lamb curry platter. Kabob was dry and red in color which I’ve never seen. The Lamb had a lot of fat and a lot of oil at the top of the dish. Didn’t eat the chick peas as I figured it was from the can. Naan bread was tough couldn’t eat much of it. The green sauce was watery and light green in color. I was expecting the dark green mint sauce and tamarind.I wil not be going back to this place. Poor quality, food not fresh and over priced. Don’t waste your money. Too many other better tasting Indian foods in the dc metro area.
