The atmosphere will remind you of days gone by, and the service can be slow, but the menus warn you that they are shorthanded. The food is average at best. But the desserts are excellent.
Very good breakfast. Very fast service. Attentive and food came very fast. Definitely will stop by and try lunch and no doubt breakfast when we're close. I'd get off the 460 when passing by.
Roaming around visiting State Parks and Appomattox Historic Site, and found this local eatery. The staff are very nice! Unfortunately, I was apparently too hungry to remember to get pictures of the food. Chatted a bit about what I was looking for and what was good. The burger was great, and from the looks of the other patrons, the milk shakes were wonderful. Will definitely stop back on my next trip through.
