The service we got from Marlee was fantastic. We started off with an appetizer of hush puppies. These were perfect after we disposed of the awful honey butter that came with them. Marlee quickly got us some regular butter which fixed that problem. Wife ordered the BBQ chicken which was delicious. She ordered a side of baked beans which she was unable to enjoy due to the over whelming taste of smoke. I ordered the deep fried haddock which I did not like due to the batter being overly spiced which covered up the taste of the fish. My side was mac and cheese that was made with sharp cheddar and that is not my favorite. My wife tried it and did not care for it either. Probably will not go back.

New location. Waited for approx 35 mins for a table for two. Got in line at approx 8pm. Lots of large parties dining in on a Saturday evening. Atmosphere was lively. Service was good once we were seated. Food was okay. I got their popular combo meal. Pork platter with slaw and collards and my sides. Food was served on a piece of brown paper and plastic to go containers. Definitely not the same Fishing Pig as years ago in its original location. It's lost some of its character along with their moves. Not sure if we'll be back, however it's still a popular restaurant so give it a try.

We ordered the brisket, fish sandwich, fried pickles, cole slaw and macaroni and cheese. The fried pickles were unfortunately a little too crispy for my liking and the brisket was dry. Cindy's macaroni and cheese wasn't tasty, sorry Cindy. The fish sandwich was good but sort of bland. I had high hopes for this place but unfortunately wasn't convinced that I would come back again. The service we received from our waitress was sub par, possibly because we sat outside or because she was having a bad day It was almost like the customers were getting on her nerves because they would ask for something or anything really.

Seat immediately. Server Felica was friendly and very efficient. Menu and drink prices reasonable. Food was excellent. I had ribs, fries and smoked baked beans. My spouse had catfish bites and the beans. Bathroom was clean.

The only reason I am giving the atmosphere a low score is the fact that it is part sports bar. Not my cup of tea. But if you like sports bars, this seems like a friendly and clean one.Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the food, friendly service, and atmosphere.
