We were in the historic town of Farmville for an overnight to visit a local furniture store and found this privately owned craft pizzeria that makes the most delicious custom wood fired pizzas, and it is beautifully decorated with great attentive service. The menu is original, creative and unique for a pizzeria. We ordered the fresh Burrata to start and we were so delighted to find tiny balsamic pearls atop our fresh and creamy mozzarella. It was beautifully presented and inventive....
Fox & Lamb is a gem. The food, atmosphere, and service are wonderful and unique. The flavor combinations they offer in both the pizza and craft cocktails are phenomenal. You won't find this anywhere else.
We enjoyed our meal and will be back. I will add the final star if at that time we are offered fresh ground pepper and cheese with our salads. The pizza was good, especially for this area. My critiques on the pizza are; needs to be more well done and sauce was a bit skimpy. Very lovely decor:
