I love this place. The hostess is a lovely person who makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is charming with antiques everywhere. Just wish I was able to visit again soon!

We just celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary and wanted to have a special night away. The house is absolutely beautiful and the antiques are amazing! Priscilla the owner is a lovely and gracious hostess! We made a new friend. The beauty for us is we live only a short distance away and can visit once in a while! The food and service was excellent. She went the extra mile for us and placed candies on our bed and some beautiful flowers in a lovely vase to welcome us and celebrate our Anniversary! I only wish we could have stayed there longer because it is a perfect place for a honeymoon or special event. We highly recommend it!!

I had the best food I have ever ate in my entire life!!! The antique furnishings took me to Grandma's house. I didn't even like history in school but the antique furnishings brought 1600-early1900's to life!

Just got home from an amazing stay at this wonderful place...great food, beautiful accommodations, and super hostess Priscilla. She went above and beyond great service...even made "scrapple" for my husband! Such a unique home filled with some gorgeous antiques. Thank you for a beautiful weekend.

We really enjoyed meeting friends today at Virginia Home Inn. It was a wonderful time of fellowship, and the meal was superb. We enjoyed the tour of the Presidents' rooms as well. We were able to share with the group about our former work in Latin America and our future plans to serve as teachers in China with ELIC.

This is just a piece of gold tucked into the mountains by Fieldale, Virginia. I used to eat there with my grandparents and we went back time after time. It's just pure American faire with much to discover. Thre Fried Chicken-----It needs a 6th gold star. It is magical.......nestled in the smoky mountaines in small town Fieldale, VA.

So happy to have found this gem recently and plan to utilize this place often. Great for small meetings or just to take a friend for a meal. The Inn has such a nice atmosphere and I feel as if I have stepped back in time for a little while. The food is delicious and the accommodations are absolutely beautiful.

We recently hosted a small, intimate dinner party at the Virginia Home Inn & were thrilled with our experience. The owners of the Inn are Edward & William Lewis. Upon entering the Inn you will be invited to visit with your hosts in the main parlor. If you have not previously visited the Inn, you will also be invited to tour the historic property & will be given a mini history of the Inn. Please note that this is a working Bed & Breakfast Inn......the guest rooms are awesome as well. At the appropriate time you will be invited to take your seats in the adjacent dining room & your dining experience will begin. For my event we enjoyed their Fruit & Spring Greens Salad, Potage au Fromage, Citrus Glazed Cornish Game Hens, Edwards's Signature Dressing, Garlic Asparagus & Virginia Home Inn French Bread with Apricot Butter. The salad was awesome with many layers of flavor featuring blueberries, strawberries, apples & kiwi fruits with a Balsamic Dressing. The Potage au Fromage was delicious & delicately seasoned. Edward's Signature Dressing was a favorite with my entire group. The Cornish Game Hens were given a citrus glaze & stuffed with orange sections to infuse the citrus flavor throughout the hen. Garlic asparagus was a delicious side & balanced the citrus glazed poultry. The portions were very nicely sized for even the largest appetites. They make their own breads & they are served to you hot-from-the-oven with their signature butter creations. For my event William created a delicious Southern Chocolate Cake from his mother's recipe collection. The cake featured yellow layers with a cooked chocolate icing & was a delicious conclusion to our meal. I am so happy I chose the Inn for my special dinner party. Please note that this is a working Bed & Breakfast Inn......the guest rooms are awesome as well.
