Down to earth, delicious food, friendly owner!

Came here on a whim and was impressed with the quesabirria tacos and friendly service. The birria consomé was splendid and the house made salsas were vibrant and flavorful.

The place is a bit of a hole in the wall, but in a charming, unassuming way. It was clean and tidy. No alcohol served here - not an issue for me but something to note. This was a great first experience and I will definitely visit again!

I was referred to this place by a co-worker, and I don’t normally do positive reviews. I only bother if I’m pissed off at a restaurant for bad service, but this place deserves 5 stars. Hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had in the valley. I walked in the place was spotless, the owner was cutting up fresh food, he waited on me immediately, and helped me order. I got birrah tacos, and a chicken/steak burrito. I had to give the place 5 stars, because I drove a hour, and 15 minutes home, and the food was still better than any eat in place in Harrisonburg. This is the Mexican food I’ve been seeing on ticktock videos, and wishing that we had a place like it here. You will not regret going to this place decent prices, and awesome food, also a honorable mention the owner is an army veteran, and a really nice guy. Give this place a try I’m definitely going back

Picked up lunch there while at expo. Birria tacos were fantastic - best I've had since moving to Virginia. Staff was friendly and professional. I highly recommend!

Stopped in for one of the taco lunch specials today. What a treat! Every aspect of my meal exceeded my expectations. The service was friendly and attentive, cozy atmosphere with a clean dining room and kitchen, super delicious food! I will be back soon. Stop in and you will be glad you did. I usually find Mexican food to be disappointing in Virginia. This made me so happy 😃

Loved the homemade tortillas. Birria meat was flavorful. I especially loved the sides like grilled onions, jalapenos, and broth. Friendly, too!

We were even campers just passing through and in search of some tasty food for dinner at our upcoming campsite. We stopped around 3:30 and just the owner was there. An amazingly friendly and genuine person, he shared his story as he prepared our dinner. We enjoyed listening to his stories and enjoyed our tacos later at the campground.
