We were even campers just passing through and in search of some tasty food for dinner at our upcoming campsite. We stopped around 3:30 and just the owner was there. An amazingly friendly and genuine person, he shared his story as he prepared our dinner. We enjoyed listening to his stories and enjoyed our tacos later at the campground.

As a former southern Californian, this place is a godsend. Nicely located between Waynesboro and Staunton — they know how tacos are supposed to be done. Their birria is unmatched in the area. I’ve had their mixed tacos, taco party pack for the family, and their quesabirria is next level with the best consommé I’ve ever had. Don’t forget the Mexican coke to bring it all together. The food was amazing, fresh, and authentic. The owners are personable, great people and offer such a needed change to the small restaurant venue in the area. And veteran owned and operated! Much respect! Will definitely be back.
