The place has a retro diner vibe. Decorated for the holiday. The owners and staff are fantastic, and the kitchen staff knows how to cook. When in Floyd you must stop at the Blue Ridge Diner!!!

Blue Ridge runs a great crew. They are all so attentive and kind. If I didn't already have a job, I'd work for them just to hang out with such a great team.Dietary restrictions: My partner is on a restrictive diet and they were very accommodating.

Have been going to Floyd recently for the market and festivals and wanted to like this more than I actually did. Had the breakfast which was fine except for the home fries. They slice them like thick potato chips and serve in a basket, and something had clearly gone wrong. Just soaked through with oil, as though the fryer temp dropped low and nobody noticed so the potatoes just soaked it all up. You'd go to put your fork in one and watch oil squish out of it. Not sure how that happens or how it gets served. It was pretty busy and had somewhere to be so didn't say anything, but those potatoes kind of haunt meParking: Plenty of spots across the street in the city building lot

Not what I would have expected from a diner but good nonetheless. We were driving on the parkway and wanted to stop and eat. Located about 8 miles off the parkway in Floyd VA, it's a little bit diner, a little bit deli. They offer a nice range of sandwiches and sides for lunch and all day breakfast. Service was good and the food came quickly. If you are out on the parkway, definitely stop by for lunch or breakfast.

I do not even know where to begin with this review. All I can say is truly phenomenal in every aspect. It is simply amazing how each of the employees help each other out. You won't just have one waitress you might have five. The owners are deeply involved and work right along with the employees. The food is Simply Delicious in every single way. The price is more than reasonable. The atmosphere is extremely cozy. I highly recommend this place to anybody and everybody that is in the area.

Had high hopes, based on previous reviews but after talking to the locals, it is under new ownership and the food has went downhill. Better choice is red roosters down the road. Over easy eggs not done and runny, French toast that tasted like it was made the day before. Home fries that are potato chips, for breakfast, really?
