Great atmosphere and an awesome selection of beer. They also have wines, ciders, seltzers, frozen drinks, and a good selection of non-alcoholic beers. They have really good food onsite from Bunker 42. There is a huge, very kid-friendly outdoor space. Lots of weekly events, such as trivia, music bingo, and live music. The staff is fantastic and a lot of fun. We always have a great time here.

We're from Maine and always make sure to stop here when traveling through the area. Somehow it seems to be music bingo night every time which is a lot of fun, just expect a crowd and get there early or call ahead. Food was new to us this time but very good. The beers are great; lots of variety and I've never had one I didn't like. If you get a flight, make sure to ask nicely and say please 😊. It is mostly family run, however we absolutely love Wes. Never had an empty glass and he's got a great sense of humor. The regulars are friendly which is always a bonus too.

Awesome beer selection. It’s great to go to a place that doesn’t just make 6 different IPAs. Very friendly staff and the decor/theme was really cool inside. Awesome place

Love the updates and the fact that ya'll serve food now! The Forest Friday Cheers was so much fun for the entire family. There was something for everyone to enjoy. We also loved the band Atlas Moon, too!!

I like the new expansion. It has made a huge difference to the whole vibe of the place. Music bingo on Thursday nights is definitely a hit. Glad to see something in that section of town that can pull a crowd!!!

Everytime I have visited they have been incredibly welcoming and friendly.
I love sours and dark/red ales. I've never been let down by the current drafts or the flavor 😊
Most recently I accidentally came in during happy hour and after spinning the wheel received 20% off my current purchase.

When I first moved to Lynchburg I made it a mission to find the best beer in town. Family owned and operated Apocalypse Ale Works was easily the best, beating out the other brewery franchises in the area! A place for the true beer lover

Such a fun place to have a drink and hang out. The food is pretty bad and not worth getting. It was way more fun when you could bring your own. 5 stars for the beer and atmosphere, 1 for the food.

It has been awhile since I’ve been to Apocalypse. It’s now even better. Wesley was very attentive and hospitable. The blueberry seltzer, lustful maiden, and holy pucker-key lime were delicious. The new onsite grill, bunker 42, offers tasty bar food. The smash burger and chili cheese fries were on point. Overall a 5 star experience.

Great time, great beer and great music the night we were there. It's a "have to" when I travel up from Tennessee
