“Our son and his wife hired Sourdough Pizza to cater their wedding in 2019 in Harrisonburg and SP was kind enough to drive their pizza truck all the way there to set up and make AMAZING woodburned sourdough YUMMY individual pizzas for all our guests with salad on the side. Everyone was impressed and came back through the line for more...and the line moved quickly too!! I would highly recommend their catering services!!”

Booths were a little creaky & you could definitely feel when someone in the booth next moved in their seat, but overall it wasn't bad. More than willing to give them another shot”

Had a great experience at Apocalypse Ale Works! The beer was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and it was a great place to spend some time.

A special shout-out to James, the bartender. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely made the experience even better. He knows his stuff, was great to talk with, and made us feel very welcome. Excellent customer service!

Definitely recommend Apocalypse Ale Works, and if James is behind the bar, you’re in for an even better experience. We’ll definitely be back!”

I know — meatloaf doesn’t usually inspire this level of enthusiasm — but this dish is in an entirely different league. Tender, rich, and perfectly seasoned, each bite melts in your mouth with that unmistakable wagyu depth of flavor. It’s elevated comfort food at its finest: nostalgic, indulgent, and unexpectedly refined. The real victory here? My husband — a lifelong meatloaf skeptic who refuses to even try it — devoured my leftovers and raved about how incredible it was (I did NOT tell him what it was i just threw the word wagyu out there and he was hooked). When I told him it was meatloaf, he insisted, “There’s no way that was meatloaf.” And yet… it was. If you think you don’t like meatloaf, Benjamin’s will prove you wrong. Run, don’t walkl”

“The ambiance has a nostalgic 80’s vibe, and I appreciated being able to have a real conversation without shouting—noise was minimal and comfortable. For my meal, I ordered the 6‑ounce sirloin steak cooked medium rare with a sweet potato. I added shrimp from the appetizer menu to top the steak and chose mixed vegetables as my side.

The entire meal was worth every dime. The flavors were fresh, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the sweet potato with the brown sugar and butter was delicious. Even the bread with the butter was great. I truly felt I got my money’s worth, and I will definitely be returning.

I tried a margarita for the first time here. It was good, just a bit salty for my taste, so next time I’ll order it with no salt. For dessert, I had the fried ice cream, and the honey drizzle was amazing—next time it’s fried ice cream with honey all the way.

The restaurant was clean, the staff was attentive, and the manager checked on us, which I appreciated. Our server was excellent—she came by often, paid attention to our needs, and made the experience even better.

I’m giving a four‑star rating only because there was an order error that required us to wait for it to be corrected. That was the only issue I experienced. Besides that, everything else was great, and my first visit was truly a wonderful experience.”

But they still weigh the cups, so it plays a role in the price. I paid over $17 for two cups of frozen yogurt, which is pricey!”
