“Hands down the best pizza in Lynchburg.I live in NJ and this pizza would do well in my area. Only thing is it’s a little on the small size compared to pizza in NJ. But still very good for VA.”

“I ordered for a takeout for an event and the person was very responsive and adorable. She also helps us print out ingredients signs without us asking and get the food prepared by the time we get there. The banh mi was great and the options for summer rolls sauces were inclusive towards vegan and vegetarian and allergies. I will definitely come back!The banh mi was a great size for the price also and the summer rolls were full and packed with meat and shrimp, not just veggies and noodles”

“What a hidden gem! The vibe / decor of 221 is incredible! So cute and well designed, definitely an Instagram worthy spot. The food is also very good! We got the onion pedals, fish and chips sub brussel sprouts, and a 221 Jack salad with fried chicken and everything tasted phenomenal. They have a HUGEEE menu too, so if you have a big group this is definitely a place where everyone can find something on the menu they like. I was also pleasantly surprised with how reasonably priced it was!! I will definitely be back. If you’re considering trying 221, just do it, you will be glad you did!”

“First time here - tried a variety of authentic Japanese in our group and want to return to try more. Unique and fresh ingredients and fun experience. We especially liked the ginger sesame salad dressing and the flavors of the sauces to dip the meats in. They Made our birthday celebration fun with a song and delicious cheesecake.”

“Cannot say enough how delicious this place is. We had the Catfish Po'Boy, Philly Cheesteak, and the Reuben and loved everything. The homemade coleslaw was also so tasty. Highly recommend eating here as it is worth every penny.”

“The food has never been less than delicious. If you go during a peak meal time, it gets very busy and the parking is scarce so I recommend visiting during off times. The staff is good, not any sort of exceptional service though.”

“This place was recommended to me as a good lunch option.It's a cute little place with a Mom and Pop vibe.I had the club sandwich which was spot on, and hubby had their homemade chile which was both filling, and delicious.The service was great, the atmosphere was relaxed and happy, and the best part of all was the HUGE selection of Hersheys Ice Cream ??”

“All Mi Patron locations have basically the same menu, but they aren't always prepared the same way. In Bedford the Al Pastor tacos have chunks of pineapple, but here the pineapple was diced and not much of it. Changes like that can change the flavor which is why we prefer the Bedford location.”

“Love the beer, awesome microbrewery, love the store next door. The food is good, the facility is cool, the outside areas are very comfortable and nice also. I wish there was a better, easier way to order beer inside sometimes. I've been there when 10 people are in line waiting to get a beer from the bartender. That could definitely be improved upon. That said, I really really like the place. Owners are really cool people also. I want to buy the beer making kit and take classes in making beer.”

“Hubby and I went for an early Valentine's Day dinner. I was skeptical choosing this location since the last few visits, the food has not been as great as Benjamin's is known for (something I've noticed a lot in the last year or so with other local restaurants -- the food quality in general has dropped). I ordered the special of the Cajun pork chops which were amazing and hubby ordered the filet which was an 8/10. We both got the brussels with bacon jam which is phenomenal! Our waitress Lindsay was awesome as well.The only negatives to note. --- this restaurant is small and quaint, it is a local gem, but it is desperately in need of some cosmetic updating. Also, we were aware that they charged a fee for using credit cards, but we paid with a debit card and were still charged the fee --- we were in a hurry, so we didn't make a fuss about it. If it happens again on our next visit, we will be sure to say something.”
