Great people and costomer service
We visited 3 nurseries in the area before landing at George’s. Do yourself a favor and Start here. Lena and Danny are straight Customer Service and they offer a wide of products. Can’t find it at the box stores? Visit George. 10/10 - Highly Recommend 🙌
Always helpful for bird food and lawn stuff ...
We are soon moving to the Forest, VA area & stopped in to check out a local seed/ plant store. The folks were absolutely lovely and welcoming. They also do a military discount which is always a wonderful bonus for us! We will definitely be frequenting this business; Thank you & well done staff of George’s!!

This is the best seed, feed and grow shop with resident experts anywhere in the Bedford County, Campbell County, Amherst County and Lynchburg area. Even better George’s is locally owned and thank goodness Lance (the new owner) was able to buy and continue with the tradition of excellence!

Awesome folks truly here to help you out. We moved to VA from GA with our senior horse and had trouble finding their feed they were use to. Thankful for this community staple. The staff is always so kind and helpful. The have quality products and usually everything I need for my garden. Love this place.
This is a great place for bird food and deer food. George the Cat is generally at the counter and appreciates a pet. I go there at least twice a month. The cat is friendly and so are the people!
