This is the best seed, feed and grow shop with resident experts anywhere in the Bedford County, Campbell County, Amherst County and Lynchburg area. Even better George’s is locally owned and thank goodness Lance (the new owner) was able to buy and continue with the tradition of excellence!

Awesome folks truly here to help you out. We moved to VA from GA with our senior horse and had trouble finding their feed they were use to. Thankful for this community staple. The staff is always so kind and helpful. The have quality products and usually everything I need for my garden. Love this place.

This is a great place for bird food and deer food. George the Cat is generally at the counter and appreciates a pet. I go there at least twice a month. The cat is friendly and so are the people!

Wonderful family type atmosphere. They sell fruits in season from their garden. I bought one of the best cantaloupe I've ever had for a nickel.

- A lady almost ran herself over with her SUV while I was here.- In the wake of the adrenaline rush I bought $30 of plants and gardening supplies when I only came to buy $10 of sand.- Met George the living cat.- Plants are SUPER inexpensive here, if I got paid earlier I would have had a field day.- Overall 10/10 experience please drive safely

Fertilizer was $15 higher for exactly the same thing at Southern States.The bag had very firm "rocks" in it. Since I only returned about 3/4 of the bag, they gave me credit for 1/2 bag. I won't be back.

Great little store. Friendly staff. Carries most of your feed and garden needs and plenty of unique items that make it worth stopping by. Great place for local items like beef, eggs, honey, sauces and even handmade soaps.

Friendliest place I went all day! Great variety of gardening supplies, baked goods, koi fish to feed and a lovely namesake named George, the cat.

This business is and has been for years a reliable source for everything I need for my garden. The employees are kind and helpful and pleasant in manner. It is a joy to visit. I always go in for something specific and leave with that and a smile on my face!
