I always enjoy dining at Bulls. However this meal, although a great portion, was very salty. I got the breaded chicken with mashed potatoes and a mushroom sauce. I think it was all in the breading. Our waitress, Taylor, made sure my meal was fixed before leaving, so for that I am appreciative. I was given a grilled chicken breast to take with me. I will definitely go back, but probably won't order this entree again. I'll stick to the beef tacos. :)

Amazing food ! Service is prompt but not hovering. Owner is friendly and funny. Was an awesome cut of prime. Next visit was a light delicious Alfredo prima Vera. In house salad dressings are mouth watering. Huge variety of choices all made for wonderful dining experience. Is our new weekly date night place.

Great food selection!!! I always seem to forget about Bull’s but very reasonable pricing for lunch.

Food is mediocre. Commercial steaks. Mash potatoes were clearly never heated it up due to them being ICE cold. I am mystified on the amount business this place receives. Maybe people are hanging onto to the past.

Liza is the most terrific waitress. Everyone there works together.
The food was terrific.

I want to love this place, I do, but we have visited there twice in the last month and I am disappointed with it overall. We visited for dinner, I never received my broccoli, the steak and my sweet potato was delicious. We didn’t get rolls until halfway through our meal and the were a block of ice in the center. I wish it would have been better.
Then today I did a pickup order for lunch, I ordered 3 vegetables, green beans, broccoli and mashed potatoes and gravy, $10. I opened the green beans and while there was generous amount, they were mush, my mashed potatoes had no gravy and my broccoli was 3 little pieces that tasted like they were steamed with with fish. I can’t say I want to visit again but I wish they would do better.

Like other reviews, good staff but worn atmosphere. Maybe the budget is so tight they can't replace the worn out vinyl table covering. The bacon cheeseburger was good as was the chicken salad. Glasses are small and require frequent refills , which came without asking, due to our great waitress. The margarita was weak, perhaps we're spoiled by the tequila generous Mexican restaurants in the area.
For the price it's good. Advice to management... replace worn out decor, especially table covering.

The server was super lovely. The food however left much to desire.
Meal 1: filet medium rare with green beans and sauteed mushrooms - both sides were out of a can, superbly oversalted and inateble. Steak was ok, but certainly not worth $32.00.
Meal 2: Prime rib, medium rare with steamed vegetables and house salad. The prime rib served was an end piece and was well done. Veggies were from a frozen mixed veg bag. They took the meat back only to return it to us , stating that it was the last piece they had. Manager then came out to our table to offer a mediocre apology but offered nothing to compensate for the unfortunate experience. Prime rib price - $38.00 All around would not go back nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

I'm new to Lynchburg. Long time I've have had such a tender steak. I'll be back.

The only above average mark I could give Bulls is high marks for service. My wife and I have been to Bulls for a quick meal multiple times. On these occasions, I generally ordered their hamburger. Nothing to rave about it was adequate. Once on a Friday night I ordered the prime rib which Bulls only serves on the weekend. This led me to think it must be good as it's served at a special time, the weekend! Well, it was tough and overcooked and tough. I ordered medium rare was more like medium well. Not good.

A couple of weeks passed and my wife and I needed a quick meal. Here we are on a Saturday night back at Bulls. I looked at the menu and thought, 'the prime rib must've been a one off.' For what they charge for a prime rib, I should've just passed it up. I looked at my wife and said, 'it's a steakhouse, it couldn't have been as bad as I remembered.' Silly me, I ordered it again, medium rare. When it arrived, I looked at it and laughed as the server left our table. It was an end cut with the slightest tinge of pink. I stabbed it with my fork looking it over. It was stiff as a piece of wood. And YES, it was dry, dry dry and tough, tough, tough.

I could've raise a ruckus, but thought I would have more fun writing a review to warn others to pass this place up if you want prime rib.

I give high praise to the server as she was good at providing friendly service and tipped her well.

I wish I could comment on the food but we sat at the bar for 5 minutes and no one would even come from the back and bring us a menu or take a drink order. Only two other people at the bar at the time. We left after being ignored.

Frozen food, extremely subpar drinks. This place should be on a reality show for how much of a joke it is
