The food was amazing! Honestly I went because of the honest replies from the owner and the fact that they stood up for themself and it was well worth it. The place is clean and the food was flavorful. They are very generous with their hummus portions and their pita chips were perfect, soft in the middle but crunchy on the outside. Definitely recommend to go!

DT Cairo is uniquely different than any other restaurant we’ve been in Lynchburg. It’s Egyptian and so so delicious. The portions are generous and the food is fresh and always delicious. It’s a casual atmosphere and the staff are attentive. We love this place and it never disappoints.

Best gyros I've ever had!!! The shawarma and the chicken are my absolute favorites. The staff is always so sweet too! We don't live in VA anymore but anytime we come to visit this is our first stop! Highly recommend 🥙

My husband and I were passing through and decided to stop in. It was very disappointing. The food was absolutely disgusting. The falafel that I had in my bowl was the only thing that was good. This is supposed to be a Mediterranean restaurant…I don’t know of any Mediterranean restaurant that serves Mexican rice as their rice dish🙄. Definitely would not recommend nor will we ever return!
