I ordered a couple pizzas over the course of a week. The first one, a Margherita that I customized with bacon and mushrooms, was fantastic. The sauce was perfect, the crust was great. It was simply really, really good with simple quality ingredients.
So emboldened, I ordered again a few days later; this time a Supreme with the option of fresh mozzarella. This one was a bit more disappointing. The three demerits were: 1.) The fresh mozzarella was simply added on top of the grated mozzarella instead of being substituted. I have never seen this before and it did not go well. 2.) The pizza was notably salty 3.) I really was unable to taste the red sauce. Maybe it was simply smothered, but I was really looking forward to tasting the red sauce. This was not a bad pizza; it just wasn't a knock-your-socks-off pizza that I experienced with the Margherita.
I would definitely buy from this place again if I return to Lynchburg. It truly is the best pizza I've had in that city, complimented with very quick turnaround and friendly staff. I will, however, be sticking to their wonderful Margherita

Was traveling in from out of town visiting friends who moved over the Lynchburg now. My friends’ friends said this was the only pizza place worth trying out in town! 10/10 didn’t disappoint! The staff were also very friendly and super fun to chat with too! Highly recommend. You won’t regret it!

As another local small business owner (blueridgecryo) I know how reviews are. Let me tell you folks, these folks deserve and work for every star I'm giving. Online ordering was a breeze, menu options are phenomenal, price is great, on time every time, and the pizza is out of this world! What pizza should be, every bite from the tip to the crust leaves you wanting more. A large split between two adults is just right. Not too heavy and not too light. The flavor of the ingredients and dough is amazing. I wished I was being paid for this but these guys and gals rock! You won't be disappointed! No photos because we ate it before pics could be taken! Cheers friends!

I tried this place out on the recommendation of a coworker who also works at sour dough on the side. I'm pretty particular about my pizza and this place did not disappoint. They use high quality ingredients and the crust has a great crunch with the texture. If you're looking for some of the best pizza in the Lynchburg area, this is definitely a spot to check out. Staff are great and just overall a great local business that keeps your money in the area instead of in the back pocket of some faceless company. Best in the Burg.

Sourdough Pizza is the best pizza in Lynchburg. No where even compares to the pizza or their fresh toppings. So glad I found out about this place years ago. Keep doing what yall are doing because I love it!!

Decided to try sourdough today and asked what was their popular pizza they have, which ended up being the margarita pizza. The guys there were friendly and got my order out soon as they could. Brought the pizza to us with paper plates, napkins, and condiments for the pizza. The pizza was delicious and can’t wait to go back to try the others they have to offer. Been living around here for 37 years and this has to be the been the best pizza in Lynchburg.

My boyfriend ordered a pizza for pick up. We arrived on time for the pick up and gave them our name. Our pizza was ready and sat cooling off for 10 minutes before it was given to us. We were not informed our pizza was ready, and it was not until we asked when our pizza was going to be ready since it had been a while that they realized that it had been ready they just never gave it to us. We were frustrated with our experience and left a review because of it. Instead of an apology the owner says our review doesn’t add up and must be false. So now you get two 1-star reviews. :)
