I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but this place was very disappointing. My husband ordered a soup and grilled cheese sandwich and the cheese was not melted the clam chowder tasted like it was Campbell’s from a can. I had a crab cake sandwich that tasted like it was not cooked all the way the only part that was good were the fries. We also waited an hour for our simple meals. The waitress did give us a discount and apologized for the wait but didn’t ask us about the food as if she already new that we didn’t like it. It’s wasn’t her fault but this was our first time visiting this restaurant and also our last. We won’t be wasting our time or our money again.

This is the second time we have gotten take out from this restaurant. Luckily, we had a gift card. I do not like wasting money on food. Also, I do not usually leave bad reviews. I ordered a BLT sandwich. I thought it was a safe choice. Nope. The lettuce was shredded, tomatoes so thin they were hardly there, and barely done bacon. Crispy bacon is what makes a BLT and Dukes mayo. I got so disgusted I pulled off all the bacon and ate basically bread. This is just a PSA for anyone else to avoid the BLT here.

Truly a diamond in the rough!!! I had the hamburger steak and it was wonderful... Fresh green beans, homemade mashed potatoes even the rolls were great! The waitress was kind and charismatic! We are from out of town everything was closed.. so glad we ran into this restaurant!

The food was not cooked like we asked. (Steaks over cooked) rolls were burnt but still brought out. It took forever to get the food. The crab cakes were so salty my kids and husband couldn't eat it. If the food had been cooked well then the price would have been worth it. I give service a 3 because she did at least take some of the food of the check after asking if we liked the meal. So I respect that.

We had scallops wrapped in bacon for appetizer cooked hot and fresh with outstanding taste! Steaks were cooked to perfection , and big scallops fried, hot fresh sides , rolls hot right out of the oven , and a nice atmosphere. Our waitress Melody was one of the best waitresses we have had in a long time , perfectly attentive and not overbearing ! She was perfect!! The entire staff was very polite . My birthday dinner was so memorable!
Delicious food, awesome customer service, super friendly owners. Definitely something not to miss!

My NY strip was 2 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick it looked like they cut it in half the steak wasn’t burnt but tasted like it was my steak fries were burnt

My husband and I had seen this place several times and finally decided to stop and try their food. Upon entering the place it was quiet and serene. Only one other couple there. I ordered the seafood platter and my husband ordered the smothered chicken. When we received the food my husband didn’t get what ordered but he decided to keep it. Upon receiving my food the first thing I noticed was that the crab cake was over cooked and upon tasting it was way too salty. I have high blood pressure. I brought it to the waitress attention and she only apologized and never said anything else. I let that passed and decided to try the other food. Upon tasting it I ate only 2 scallops from the food and no longer had an appetite. My stomach started hurting really bad . My mouth started watering. Before I could get home I was purging every where. I decided to call and ask for the manager because at this point I wanted a refund. Only for my food. I’ve have yet to hear from anyone else from the restaurant. I still have the food where there was only 2 scallops eaten from the platter. I am sorely disappointed. I would still like a reply back from the manager. I won’t be visiting there again and will surely pass the word on to never visit this place again.

Two stars because we did a takeout order so I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. My scallops were fishy and over cooked. The asparagus didn’t have the ends snapped off so you couldn’t eat the entire thing. The food was pretty bland and underwhelming for the price point.
