“My family loves this place. The Sunday brunch is amazing, the craft beer selection is incredible and don't even get me started on wine. They recently started serving sushi and Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. It's incredible!”

“We moved here a few months ago and have eaten here many times, including takeout. The food is stellar, the atmosphere is comforting and allows my toddler to be himself, and the staff is remarkable! My son loves Violet! Recently I’ve had some health complications and Ian, Violet, and the rest of the staff have really showed me what small town living is about. I am so grateful for them. If you’re new here or haven’t tried their food, they’ve got the BEST veggie wrap (pickled onions to die for) and their chicken salad is the bomb! “It was fun to find and visit a place that's obviously a longtime local social hub for Franklin VA. Hubby's eggs to order and sides were good. My biscuits and gravy were okay but not amazing. The servers were sweet, friendly and professional. The regular customers, however? We sat at the front window table so we could read while we ate, obviously unaware of unwritten local customs. And no, we didn't hang out for ages, as we were on a long road trip. We snagged actual dirty looks from folks coming in, as soon as they saw strangers at "their" table. When my husband stood up after the meal and put on his jacket, one of the regulars walked right up to our table, which we hadn't even left yet, and plonked his beverage down, edging towards hubby's chair. The table wasn't even bussed yet! I very much hope that's not a frequent behavior.”

“Food is really good here and the price is on par to slightly higher on average to comparable Italian foods from comparable places. Service is good usually here but the last time I went it there were times I felt a little bit neglected, but overall it was still good service.Parking: Plenty of room for parking.”

“I was reluctant to get Chinese food out in Franklin but this place was surprisingly very good. The young lady behind the counter was very polite and friendly. I ordered the chicken with mixed vegetables lunch special and it came out pretty quick. The food was really, really good. The vegetables were cooked perfectly. I'll definitely be stopping by again.”

“The cupcakes…..there are no words how incredibly delicious they are. I recently went in for the first time and I can’t stop thinking of the strawberry cream cheesecake cupcakes and the Vanilla bean (sigh). Most definitely worth a trip into Franklin for a delectable treat. ? This has to be the best bakery I’ve been to since leaving New York City.”

“The store is always clean and the staff pleasant. The food is ok~ the batter a little salty but it beats having to cook it myself..lol And they have hand scooped ice cream in many flavors ~ it's worth a trip to try a scoop?”

“Dairy Queens usually don’t live up to what they used to be but this location was the best experience we have had at one in a long time! Food was good, blizzards were good, the place was clean! They have nice sofa like benches you can sit at as well as tables! Hence the “chill” in the name! The service was good, they were friendly and polite and there was even a guy cleaning up the store while there so they care! Refreshing to see a fast food tradition live up to what Dairy Queen originally was known for!”

“This place is a hidden gem. We got the lunch burrito and it was huge! The steak was super tender and the queso was spot on. Super friendly staff as well. Worth a stop of you're passing by.”
