This place is downtown near the post office. Kinda small parking lot but it’s ok. Inside is bright open, clean & I was greeted right away. I was shown a table & then the huge board for lunch was slid over to my table. Kinda shocked me but it was easy to read, prices marked clearly too. I ordered the catfish dinner. It was good could been crispier but for what it was it was good. It was hot n tasted nice. Cornbread & string beans were good as well. The service was nice & the manager waited on me, he was nice & polite & very knowledgeable about the place. Portion sizes not huge, just right ( for me ). Seemed pretty popular with locals too. I’ll definitely go back & try other items.

I went there last week I give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️ it’s very clean their sweat tea good It’s just no flavor in food had a weird taste cabbages not fully cooked tasted burnt but everything was was well done it’s was the taste for me and I tipped my waiter and she gave it right to the boss that pissed me off too because where they do that at I actually know that young lady and I hate when people get taking advantage of!!!

The table next to us put it this way: “I don’t know what y’all are doing back there but keep doing it!” It felt like eating with family because of the portions, the care from the staff, and the clear love put in the food. We’ll be back next time we’re in town!

Delicious food, inviting atmosphere and felt like we were at home! The staff was great and the food was fantastic!

I specifically ordered the grilled scallops, take out. When I got home, they had served me fried scallops; not bad for fried scallops, but not what I ordered. My 2 sides were mac N cheese, and fried apples; no utensils were included.

The best food, waiter was so polite. I must return because I want some oxtails now

On 2/28/25, I choose to have call in / pickup order. After relentlessly calling (10 attempts), I spoke with a lady who stated this was not the restaurant. The call was lost due to disconnect issues. Then, it was regained, I spoke with a male who answered. I confirmed was this the restaurant . While attempting to take my order over the phone he was pre occupied with talking , laughing. and being distracted and of course I get to hear the whole event. Very poor and much needed customer service and hospitality. That must be the benchmark in any business
