6 Bears & A Goat Brewing Company

Posting on behalf of my daughter who does not have Facebook : Extremely Disappointed by How I Was Treated at 6 Bears & a Goat** I’ve been a loyal customer at 6 Bears & a Goat for a long time, but a recent experience has made it clear I will not be returning for a while if ever again. Which is sad I have a lot of business meetings there and love the staff. Two months after a visit, I was unexpectedly approached and **berated by the owner, Mark Faller**, over an internal staff issue that I had no part in. He claimed that a server had been drinking at my table during a prior visit and said this could put his license at risk. To be clear: I never saw the server drinking, she did not appear intoxicated, and no one from management ever asked me what I observed. The accusation came from another server who was reportedly upset about an unrelated issue and chose to bring it up while quitting. It’s troubling enough that this internal drama was mishandled—but even more upsetting that, as a customer, I was dragged into it. Rather than handling it professionally or verifying the facts, Mr. Faller blamed me directly. He even said we “should not have let her drink,” which was baffling and unprofessional. A manager later apologized on his behalf, but the damage was done. As a loyal patron, I should never have been put in the middle of internal staffing issues, let alone blamed for them. If this is how 6 Bears & a Goat chooses to treat regular, paying customers, then I will gladly take my business elsewhere.

A great local brewery with some excellent food as well. It's a little pricey but we still think worth a visit from time to time

Stopped by when traveling through & was very pleased. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty food & great tasting beer. Definitely worthy of a road trip stop!

Great food! The outside setup is nice and they are serving a full menu during the shutdown.

My family came in on Saturday evening and sat for 20 minutes. No one ever came to our table. When I flagged down a waiter, he shrugged and said, "I guess I can serve you." We got up to leave. I understand when people are busy but the wait staff walked by our table no less than 30 times while we're sitting there with no drinks or food, it's pretty egregious. Been there before and been pleased, this time I think is the last.

Love the place, but on trivia night the working staff should not be playing against us.

A new favorite place! The beer and food selection, quality, and taste are outstanding! Hats off to the brewmasters and the chef! An exceptional value for your money! A must try!

Nice beer selection and tasty food. Will be back to try more of the beer options. Also looked like a nice outdoor area but I didn't get to explore it too much.

Food is over rated and over priced and the service does not make for it.

What a lucky find of a restaurant and craft brewery. Just a one night stay/pitstop in Fredericksburg. Everything about this place was top-notch.

Stopped here while traveling home. Great vibe inside, friendly and welcoming environment. Food was good - we had the pretzel as an appetizer, patty melt and grilled cheese. Side of poutine fries, the fries could have been cooked longer, they were a little on the soggy side. Would eat here again when in the area.

Was excited to find this place. Food and environment was great. Wish they had some lighter beers but it is a brewery so hoppy craft stuff it is. Maybe I’m the problem for wanting a tall frosty bud light.

Some old friends were making home brew. They suddenly realized they had no brewing yeast. 6 Bears and a Goat bent over backwards to give an assist. Thank you, you guys saved the day😀
