Our dining experience at this restaurant was pleasant. The ambiance was neat, and the food was tasty, especially the burger. We skipped the seafood options and went for steak, which was okay. We didn’t have great expectations on ordering the steak so we weren’t too disappointed when it came out cold. My friend ordered a rare steak so we were afraid asking the staff to reheat would cook the steak more. Nevertheless, our waiter was awesome and helped us choose some beers selections for our flight. We went here for the beer and had a great time.

In a sea of strip mall fast food joints, this place is a real oasis, and the only place I would go for a beer on Rt. 17. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and the beer is FANTASTIC. I’ve been to a lot of Virginia Breweries and their Zero Dark Thirty (stout) is an absolute fave. I love their burgers and fries, and I’ve always had good service there…. And even if they were having a bad day, I would absolutely go back. It’s a small business started and run by members of the military community. I want to support a local business, even if they have their off days. Doesn’t everyone? ?

Unfortunately our visit was mediocre. We went with a group of 9 this past Sunday @ noon. There were only a handful of people in the restaurant. Ordered apps, which came out quickly and all enjoyed the brussels so we ordered a 2nd round, which were not as good. There were tables seated after us and were served before us. We thought okay, they are bringing everything out at once for our table, perfect! Instead the food came out in four different shifts. One person was done eating as the last person was getting their food, which was a simple omelet with the cheese not melted. Eggs benedict was barely warm with over cooked chicken. One order had tater tots that were still frozen in the middle. Another order came out overcooked. Our server was hit or miss - there were times it seemed like we were a nuisance, but we still tipped accordingly. May or may not give it a 2nd shot. Maybe it is better if you are just there for the booze, hahaha.

Poor service right from the beginning. We stopped going to this restaurant hoping one day they'd get their service together. Unfortunately from 6 months ago, to just this evening, nothing has changed. Our food was cold, 5 onion rings from the smallest onion ever was served to me cold with the hamburger cooked perfectly but also cold. Waitress snapped at my husband when we asked for the check. The wait time was ridiculous for rude service and we felt unwelcomed. Word of mouth - we've recommended your place several times these past 7yrs when we are asked of a good place to eat a burger and drink a beer. However we now follow up with, "If you get a good waitress and aren't pressed for time".Thanks for reading.

Arrived at 6:30 and stood at the host podium for 5 min before someone showed up to to tell us it’s a 10 min wait, 15 min later we were seated outside in a tent with no lights on, I ask if we can sit inside and am told there’s no spots available. After sitting in the dark for 5 more min the waitress showed up. We order a coke, iced tea and an appetizer. We sit and watch as drinks and food are brought out to people seated outside the tent for a while before I go inside and ask someone to turn the lights on and see about our drinks… a few min later some lights are turned on, and we see our waitress walk by with drinks for others. We call for her attention and she walks past without acknowledging, 5 min later she goes by again, I try to get her attention with no response, on her way back she stops and buries her face in her tablet while standing 6 feet from us, we both call for her attention, nothing..2nd time nothing and she starts to walk away.. I yell loud enough people inside pokes their head out to see what that was and she finally turns around and I ask where my drinks and food are? She says my food will be atleast 20 min and she’ll get our drinks in a little bit. I look at my watch to see it’s now 7:25… I tell them forget it and leave. Nearly 45 min of sitting at a table being ignored and never even given a water….This isn’t a one off experience either. Of the 3 times I’ve tried them not over have I been served my drinks and food in under an hour

This brewery really stands out among others in the area. They have great beers, wines, and cocktails. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is lively. It's a place you've got to check out if you're into trying different local establishments. Whether you're really into beer or just starting to explore craft brews, you'll find something you like here.
This place rules. Come get the half price apps during the week before 6pm. The beer is fantastic and always rotating in new options to try. My kids love hanging out here too.

Didn't seek this place out, searched, took a chance was absolutely elated. Bartender was friendly, the head chef was as well. I ordered poutine with a steak since you rarely find poutine on a menu in the states. Delicious. Might ask them to double cook them next time, as i like mine overly crispy. Then ordered the wings with Sweet BBQ. Delicious. Top 5 best wings I've ever had. They were huge, not salty, not too sweet and were piping hot, came right off the bone. Had a sweet cider to go with it as I was riding and wanted something light and crisp. Solid place. Will come back, will order brew to go and will recommend. Worth the trip off 17.

Great way to spend a Sunday afteroon catching up with some friends. Several solid brews and a good service.While the poutine was forgetable, the goat cheese salad was delish and I would make the trip back just for that.
