I’m from Texas so I usually expect to be disappointed by barbecue this far north. I had one of the best pulled pork sandwiches I’ve had in my life. The coleslaw was perfect. You can get a meal here cheaper than most fast food places. Prices are fantastic. And stepping into the restaurant is like stepping back in time. Very cute 50s vibe. The service was great as well. Can’t recommend this place enough.

I stopped at Allmans on a whim because I had been wanting ribs (St. Louis). They were delicious! Well seasoned, not slathered in sauce. They gave me all 4 sauces to try. They were all good. The only downsides: 6 small bones cost $21 (They actually look like a decent size in the picture but not meaty at all) I wouldn’t have minded if the ribs were bigger. And it didn’t come with any type of bread. If the ribs had more meat on them I would’ve given 5 stars.

We ordered the brisket +3 and pork +3 and our sides we got to try were fries, hush puppies, mac and cheese, baked beans, corn bread, and onion rings. Let me tell you, every single thing was delicious! You get so much food, we have enough leftover for dinner tomorrow night. Not only is the food super good, but the service is great! The server gave our dog a pork bone because she happened to be pulling pork, it was super nice, and she brought us other BBQ sauces to try. I would definitely come back here!

The best rooms I've had in a long time!! The atmosphere is very vintage. Overall. A very excellent stop. Well worth the traffic to get here which says a lot.
