We stopped in for lunch. The food was ok. The service was nothing to brag about and the atmosphere was stale and boring. While the building was historic and had plenty of artifacts it was “old” as opposed to engaging and historical. Our waitress was not enthusiastic at all. She appeared disinterested or distracted. The food was meh at best. Nothing that stood out. I would say it was typical diner food, except that I’ve had dinner food that would knock your socks off. This didn’t. If you looking for a fun, engaging, and tasty lunch, I would say look elsewhere.

If I could give this place a million stars I will, I absolutely love coming to Amy’s Cafe. Everyone is so welcoming and caring towards you I have never had a bad time. The crab dip is absolutely to die for I get it every time I go. All the food is delicious. Definitely a place to go!!!!

Went to Amy's Cafe for the 1st time yesterday. We were treated with great food (Appetizer was Reuben egg rolls, onion rings, entree was Chicken fried steak ,mashed potatoes and delicious green beans with bacon) great food and great service (Thank You Betty).

If I could give 10 stars I would. Missy the bartender and Bailey a member of the wait staff absolutely went above to give the absolutely best service. The food was super yummy and the vibe was stellar. They made the celebration dinner mwah chefs kiss. This will definitely be a place I frequent!! Thanks guys-ya'll are awesome!!!

My family, friends, clients and I, will never step in this restaurant again. We spent considerable money since day one. When your food is served and it's not according to what you ask, and we're only asking for a discount but the waitress insists returning it and there's already an inconvenience, which is, the food not being prepared the way you ask, there's an issue here. And it's not with the customer. We may try in another 6 months, hopefully the waitress is gone by then.

Dog friendly - our lab was greeted with kind attention and a bowl of water. The salmon was very good as was the pasta salad. The apple pie ala mode was terrific.

I arrived to this restaurant at 1145 on a Sunday. Went inside and a worker said we're moving from breakfast to lunch and it won't take long, they walked away. Another lady then came up and said what do you need? We said we want lunch. She said you want a to go order? We clarified no we want to eat at the restaurant so she seated us and gave us menus. Then a third lady came by and told us to leave because lunch wouldn't be ready for an hour. It was 1150. Why on earth is lunch not ready for an hour and why do none of the employees communicate with each other? This whole experience was very frustrating. I will never come back.

This review is in response to the review that received 1 star by LaPaila Ltda posted on August 16 at aprox 1215. I was at Amy's when he arrived which was about 1155. He was agitated when told Amy's was transitioning to lunch. He never took a seat and slammed the door as he was leaving. Don't know how he could leave one star for the food that was never ordered. The guy was bonkers and his story isn't truthful.
The staff at Amy's is very friendly but they don't exist to be on the receiving end of someone's belligerence.
