This place is understated, but very good...whether dining in or ordering out. The soup was excellent, and the food was made to order. Very good!

Visited Spice Thai Cuisine today (2-29-24), started with Tom Yum Gai soup, decent flavor and spicy, which I asked for...I also ordered the green curry, which was WAY too sweet. Lots of veggies, not a lot of chicken. Didn't like it, didn't finish it. Decor and atmosphere were sort of dark and depressing. The server barely said a word, never asked how the food was...seemed like he was bothered to be working. Needless to say, I won't go back there. Kinda pricey too in my opinion.

The food is bland. Seems like they were trying to accommodate for more Asian fusion. Thai food should have beautiful aroma and flavor not just spice…which the hot level wasn’t even spicy.

Awful customer service since the younger female server left. The food is amazing but it’s not worth dealing with the rude male server. Will not be back!

Over-priced, bland flavorless food, and brusque customer service were the take aways. Everything seemed like it might be good, but it wasn't. The garden rolls were pretty much lettuce in a rice-paper wrap. There was not a salt shaker in sight, and everything desperately needed some salt. And it lived up to the awful cliché of putting sugar in everything. Tiny portions of food loaded with MSG.

As always, well attentive service and great food.

I have been to this place 4 times and out of those, 2 times have I been dubbed. First, the staff could care less if you are there. I saw a review where it said the staff treated you like family? Never seen that. The same guy is the one I get each time and he is indifferent. I went there today for lunch after church as a treat. I ordered Tom Kha Gai (bowl) and the price in the menu stated two prices, one for a cup and one for a bowl. I ordered the bowl and the price stated 8.00 plus change. The waiter came and said is that with chicken and i said yes. The menu said shrimp or chicken. I get it and its ok at best. Then i get my bill. I pull out a $20.00 and think that is plenty to pay for that and the garden roll plus tip. He says uh the bill is 22.94???/ I said why? he stated you asked for chicken. Rather than argue I paid. This isn't the first time this same guy has got me. Once other time I asked for more peanut sauce and instead of saying anything to me he brings it and my bill reflects another $2.50.Suffice to say this is the very LAST time they will see a dime of my money. I will never go there again nor recommend them to anyone. Consumer beware. For those that have had a great experience i am happy for you. I cannot say same.

The restaurant was clean, quiet & no one was in there. I ordered a large take out order consisting of fried rice, pot stickers, pad pak chicken, chicken lettuce wraps & chicken noodle soup. The food was not very tasty except for the fried pot stickers were good The chicken lettuce wraps were terrible, I threw those away The chicken was not real chicken & dont have a clue what kind of meat that was, it didnt even look like meat. It wasnt even the color of chicken. Even the chicken in the other dishes looked like a type of deli meat, not tasty at all. I wont be going back.

Love that the restaurant provides water with fresh fruit in it. The food is amazing! We shared a chicken Pad Thai and Tom Kha Gai Soup. Service was pleasant, our food came out quickly, and our waters remained filled. The space was tastefully decorated for the holiday. We will definitely bookmark this place as a go to pit stop in route to MD.

Tried the Spice Thai for the second and last time. There was a bad odor just inside the front door. The place was empty. I sat down and was given a menu and water. I asked for any lunch specials- weekday during lunch- and was just told no lunch specials. Very abrupt he came took my order. Didn't wait long and the spring rolls came out nice and hot. Nothing special. I ordered the sizzling beef. It came out hot with a scoop of rice. Pretty much no flavor at all. Beef was not seared and sauce was very bland. I ate the rolls but left most of my lunch as it wasn't even worth saving for leftovers. Total was $27 Bland food, bland service and will not be back for a third time.

This has been my favorite Thai place that have been too. If you're looking for really great Thai just skip the other places. I'll drive from Stafford for this place.
