One of our favorite spots in Fredericksburg. Atmosphere is always greeting. The various ice creams are all so good.

Some of the best ice cream and milkshakes I've ever had! They're local. They offer pints to carry home. I love the goat cheese and blueberry, the blue cow patty and the cookies and cream. But their plain chocolate and vanilla are fantastic too! They make their own waffle cones as well. The smell will bring you into their doors. All of their ice cream has generous portions of ingredients. They don't skimp on you here.

UPDATE: There have been a few times where I order my favorite flavor, blue cow patty, as a pint to take home and it's just chocolate ice cream. My husband also got a pint and same thing. When we go back and if we get a pint, I'll probably have the staff make the pint for me so I don't feel cheated next time.

Creamy and yummy flavors, wish they had a more of selection of toppings.

Over the past month or two, each time we’ve visited (total of 3), the chocolate ice cream has been “sold out.” I won’t be going back to this place. 1x? Ok. 2x? Maybe. 3x? No excuse, jokes on me.

Don’t get me started on the mint chip. It is my favorite flavor but for chocolate lovers go for the blue cow paddy definitely go here. I love it.

Blue Cow is my favorite ice cream in Fredericksburg! There's no other place compares to the quality and creaminess of this ice cream. I've had a variety of unique flavors and house specials, always rich and flavorful. Staff are friendly. Great atmosphere.

Very friendly staff the guy that was helping me told me the top flavors,I ended up getting the sea salt brickle with caramel,very creamy and flavorful.the waffle cone was delicious also!

Best ice cream I've had, the brownie one has nice big chunks and the chocolate flavor is not artificial, the birthday one was delicious too, nice vanilla flavor, you can taste the milk, cake chunks and the ice cream wasn't water down feeling or heavy and thick, it was just right

Also the guy that attended us was very nice, the only bad thing is that they had the spoons and napkins behind a glass but I'm sure if you ask they will give you

This place is great! Great atmosphere & friendly, helpful staff. The real ice cream is amazing! Unfortunately, I got the non dairy ice cream-peppermint (bc I can't do dairy), which is made with coconut milk. I'm sorry to say it was not good.🫤 It tasted like it had gone bad & had a waxy aftertaste. I ended up throwing it in the trash on the way out. On the other hand, my daughter said her regular ice cream was to die for...creamy & delicious!! She highly recommends it!!!

Haven't had a poor experience yet. Even the goat milk based flavor i tested was delicious when I didn't know what to expect. Uts become a favorite! Nice variety and seasonal selections
