Bonefish Grill

A group of 6 friends ate here last night. We all had different appetizers and entrees. All the food was delicious and the waitress was very attentive. The manager came by to speak to us a few times as well. We enjoyed pork chops, trout, pumpkin ravioli, as well as, crab cake, & bang bang shrimp appetizers. We even indulged in a couple signature martinis. It was a wonderful evening.

When you leave and say to each other that the bread and the iced tea was the only food was good, there's a problem. The calamari and bang bang shrimp had so much oil saturated and on top that the breading was falling off and dripping. No flavor, cold and not worth dining out. My husband's Lily's Chicken was tough and the potatoes were ice cold in the center. Service was great, wish the food was.

We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation time and were promptly seated. 20 minutes later our waitperson apologetically arrived. What disturbed us most was that during that wait, what appeared to be, the dining room manager past by our table at least 5 times without recognizing that service had yet to arrive at the table. The cocktails were excellent as was their signature bang-bang shrimp. The entrees ordered were from their "specials" offerings. Udon noodles with vegetables and shrimp were tasty but the noodles were overdone to the point of being mushy. The orange roughly could have been very good had it not been for the bland crab topping. We've dined here in the past but usually select from the standard menu as what specials they have offered are hit and miss. We'll stick to the regular menu next time.

This rating is for the bourbon pairing event. Overall, this was a very fun event. Both the cocktails and food were very good. It was pleasant to have a paced dining experience.

Wow-the amount of shrimp we got in our 2 orders of Bang Bang shrimp was amazing-Piled high. Can't believe we actually couldn't finish and had to bring 2 home with our leftovers. I'm a good eater and we got so much food! Server was awesome. Loved our experience at Bonefish.

The service is well above average for the DMV and as a chain. I was very pleased with the food. I had the scallops and shrimp meal and it was great.

I took my CFO and wife to dinner for her 70th birthday. One of the specials was Mahi Oscar. Both ordered it. Ten minutes later the server returned to say the kitchen informed her they were out of Mahi. This was at 6:30 PM and only a handful of people in the restaurant. They advertised a special knowing they didn't have it. New server named Kayla did a wonderful job!

We were literally the only table filled and the waiter acted like it was a horrible imposition to come check in on us. We had to beg for refills, service and our check! The food was amazing, but with the service, we would likely not come back. We had a 4 week old baby and a 5 year and having to beg for service was not on our plan for the day.

Our visit was, without exaggeration, the worst experience I've ever had. From start to finish, the service was deplorable, leading to an incredibly frustrating and disappointing Father's Day celebration. The most egregious issue was the unacceptable wait time to be serviced after being seated and a nearly hour long wait for our food. These extended wait times were compounded by the terrible service from our waitress. She was inattentive and unresponsive, making no effort to update us on the food delay or offer any apologies. It felt as though we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. Overall, the combination of the excruciatingly long wait times and the abysmal service made for a truly miserable dining experience.

Bonefish is consistently good. Service and Food. The Atmosphere is a little less noisy than other places which we actually enjoy.... just like a quiet good meal. Restaurant vibes can be hectic, which detracts from the meal sometimes.
