The company party rented the cellar out for drinks and food. If you are over 5'9" watch your head on the beams. My tall friend bopped his head. The food, drink and service were all very good. The staff was attentive to our group. Cool being in an older building and appreciating the history. Pork belly was good. They offer many custom cocktails too.

I have been here thee times and all I can say is this place is a total dump. The only reason they do so well is due to the lack of other dance/club options in town for LGBT individuals. The carpets are disgusting and torn up, the roof over the dance floor leaks, every chair and table is wobbly and unsafe, the ladies room has no toilet seats (at least it didn't the last time I went) and the men's room...you have to be a brave soul to use that. Would rather go in a gas station restroom. The staff are rude, the bouncers are on a power trip like its a New York City club, and the bar tenders expect massive tips....if you don't they will ignore you the next time you need something. On a positive note, the drinks are relatively strong and there is no cover charge, but I doubt anyone would pay based on the dilapidated condition its in. If the owner would spruce the place up and have quality staff it would be a nice place to go.

Try the whiskey sweet n sour... Made with egg whites but you would never know. My mom drank the Manhattan which is her go to drink. She said it was by far top 3 in all of her yrs. These bartenders are knowledgeable and patient with your order. For being in an arcade; i come back for them.

WON'T go back......Petty and disrespectful door staff. I've only lived in the area for around a month and I was a patron multiple times prior to having issues. Overwhelmingly the place gets good ratings but I encourage the ownership to take a look at your staff. Some of us who would spend a good amount of money there have been pushed away because of your unfriendly staff working the door. Somewhat disappointing as this is one of the only spots to play EDM in the Fburg area but I will take my money and my friends elsewhere. Nope.....just nope.

LOVE this place. Used to go here all the time in college on Saturday nights. Not sure who the DJ is now, but The Patient was amazing. Toward the end of my college career, she had moved out of the area, but I will never forget the fun times there. Friendly staff/bartenders. Perfect combo of trashy dive bar and fun location to dance and have a good time. Will be back whenever I get to visit Fredericksburg again!!
This is a good bar at night 10pm or later, but any other time of day it's a complete ghost town, over all it is a good bar but just isint live until night

Went in the Bourbon Room last night after not coming for a couple years and this place has changed for the worse over the years. It is no longer a gay bar and I'm ashamed to say it is considered one. First off while dancing on the dancefloor I watched a drug deal go down and left shortly after that. Before that happened I was searched by a medal detector when I entered the door.... The employees were very rude the whole floor is now nothing but plywood. It was just hideous. Oh yeah the new rules are ridiculous. I went to the DJ to request a song and was told by random lady that I wasnt allowed to request songs and I would get kicked out if I talked to him again because "he was working". I will never go back to this place again!
