I had to revise my review. I was able to finally get my crabs last Saturday, and it was worth the wait. They were sooooo good. One hell of a deal and plenty to share with my family. Made the drive this time worth it. The front desk ladies were so sweet and very helpful. Thank you for treating me so well. I will purchase from you again.

I drove an hour 14 minutes to get there at opening to be told that they were sold out already at 10:15 am. Smh, thank God the traffic wasn't horrible, but it's the principal. First come, first serve must've started before 10 am this morning.sr least it smelled like they would've been good. Well, I guess 🤷 they weren't expecting early birds.

Crabs from Charlies were large, flavorful and definitely fresh! Staff were friendly and their seasoning mix was excellent. Charlie’s is CASH ONLY and they do sell out quickly (especially if you want #1 Males). My first time stopping in was on a Sunday which I quickly learned is a busy day for them, so I would recommend arriving shortly after opening, but I will absolutely be returning! There are only a few options for fresh crabs in the Fredericksburg area and after several disappointments with another local crab spot, I look forward to giving business to Charlie’s!

I used to love crabs, grew up eating them. But had fallen back the past 3 years or so because of constant disappointment in the quality. Charlie's might reignite my desire for them. I purchased some #1s last weekend, and they were delicious and huge.

Excellent food, fun and friendly atmosphere. Can’t get enough and look forward to dining here again.

Bought a 1/2 bushel of #1 Males yesterday afternoon and they were fantastic. Large, heavy, cooked perfectly, and at a fare price.

We got a bushel of #1s this weekend and they were fat and delicious!

Best place in the Fredericksburg area for crabs! We showed up shortly after they opened on a Saturday to order 3 dozen #1 males...extra spicy. Every crab was delicious, heavy and did I mention delicious?!
The staff were kind, friendly and helpful too. This has been my go-to place for years.
Don't forget they are cash only! On this particular day, I totally spaced, offered to leave my friend as collateral and ran up to the 7-11 to use the ATM. Please note: my offer of collateral was declined and the crabs were waiting for us when we returned with cash in hand. :)
