I called today to place an order for 2 bushels of crabs and this rude woman kept hanging up on me then blocked my number. I will never go there because of her actions and how rude she was.

First negative review I’ve provided ever-ordered 1/2 bushel of #1 males. They were cold (heard later these were likely yesterday crabs) and so small. Probably the worst crabs I’ve ordered. Easily a full dozen were waste crabs. Very disappointing, won’t go back.

Placed the order days in advance for a 1/2 bushel of #1 males, heavy spice. We arrived on time and all they had for us were cold crabs. Medium size. We were in a bind and took them but I suspect they were leftover crabs from the day before. They were pretty light. JO spice was light also even though we asked for heavy JO. Will not go back.

Full of meat with every crab and perfect season. They go beyond expectations. Love it! My fav seafood/crabs/shrimp. You made a regular out of me

I called to see if their number 1’s were heavy, they told me “yes!” When I arrived, they were trying to sell a person $18.99 a lb for some snow crab legs and they were completely small. I advised that customer somewhere else. The crabs I received were small and not have at all. I got a dozen for $50. This is the second time I’ve been there and there won’t be a third. I’ve been there with other customers and the people that run the establishment always look under the influence of some substance and it isn’t alcohol. Never buy from them. Not worth the money. Everything is skimpy. Tried to reheat them for flavor. This place sucks!

I never take the time to write a review, but after yesterday’s crabs I couldn’t shake the feeling of this happening to someone else. A friend and I ordered 2 dozen of crabs 5/25/2024 around 4:30 pm. They were priced $60 a dozen and were suppose to be #1 large males. What we received were cold crabs that honestly seemed like they had been sitting . They WERE NOT FRESH! Our first mistake was leaving , but honestly we gave them a benefit of the doubt and thought that maybe mid to bottom of bag would be mostly warm hot ones and all large #1s. Something seemed off when we arrived 12 mins after placing the order. We waited an additional 25 mins (mind you no one was in the store) also us waiting so long we thought we would be receiving steamy hot crabs but we saw no steam when we left and it’s NO REFUNDS! Once we got home and dumped all the crabs, you could in fact tell they weren’t fresh even just by the seasoning looking like it had been cooked hours or even a day ago. And once you opened them they smelled of ammonia. I am sooo pissed because that’s over $100 gone. We called and the owner was soo nonchalant. He didn’t even offer a voucher for new fresh crabs . You can tell by the pics I have attached. The pics literally were taken as soon as we dumped them out. Tell me those def do not look fresh.

We ended up trashing them and going to decaturs (are usual spot) where the crabs were steamy and the seasoning sat beautifully on top. I would NEVER do cockeye ever again.

I picked up a dozen live blue crabs (jumbos) today. I must say they were the biggest and heaviest crabs I've ever bought and I've been buying crabs for 40 plus years! Great service and an excellent selection of seafood! Definitely the place to buy crabs!
