Dickey's Barbecue Pit

I just found out about Dickey’s when I moved to Va, I heard that this location had just opened back up recently and we figured we would try them out. This is the Second or Third time Ferber’s Tire and Auto had used them for our Friday lunch. The food is always on point, the young ladies do a great job of greeting you on the phone, taking your order and serving it up when you arrive. Food is always piping hot and full of juicy flavor. The love how you can choose between the different sauces depending upon your mood. James and his crew do an excellent job and we will sure be coming back for more BBQ. Thanks again for the hospitality and the Great Food!

Stopped by here for a late lunch. First time and went with the recommendations from staff. The ladies were very nice. Food was decent, fast service, clean restaurant.

This Dickey’s always has wonderful service and food! The pit boss is $9.45 and has bbq pork, one side, and a drink. Kids eat free on Sunday!

My favorite is the giant baker with either pork or brisket. My son also loves the ribs here—his favorite!

The service is fast and the people who work here are very personable!

The place looked closed besides the small illuminated open sign. Once inside, we weren't really welcomed or greeted, despite being the only customers there; but of course that would mean the employees would need to put their cellphones down to know we were there. Food was OK, not as good as mission bbq but it wasn't bad. It gave the overall feeling that it was in the middle of being renovated with stuff not working and maintenance clutter.

I got the 3 meat plate, 2 ribs which were ok but dry, brisket needs more flavor, and the chicken was dried out. I also got some sausage which was better than the 3. I got fried okra, it was good, and beans which i didn't get to eat because they were placed upside in the bag and spilled out. Overall, I'll never eat there again. Needs tremendous work.

Staff was a lil standoffish as if they didn't want to even be there with the exeption of the gentleman at the start got an order to go 5/29 to take home 2 1/2 hrs away ended up finding plastic in the baked potato caserol and my brisket was extremely gritty I ordered sliced but can tell they used just the deckle for the sliced only which should had been used for chopped brisket and the slices were very thick and stringy was definitely not up to corporates standards as I myself used to not only be a pit master but also a manager at a different Dickeys location in the past would had took pictures but was too tired and hungry to bother

The food was disgusting. The smoked turkey was literally a slab of lunch meat with char marks on it, slimy and mushy, not real meat. The sliced brisket was mushed up and all fat. The boneless wings ordered for my 4 year old were not boneless! The only thing that was decent were the French fries. Not worth the money with the quality of food you get. I will definitely never go there again and I will inform everyone I know to never to get food from there. Absolutely disgusting!!!!! If I could give negative stars I would!

Just not the same since they reopened.

Had an excellent dinner with my parents yesterday evening! We're big BBQ people so my Dad suggested Dickey's. Customer Service was excellent and the beef brisket was even better! 🥰 Try the brownies too! They were good. We'll definitely be back!
