My girlfriend found this place as we were traveling back from NC to NOVA. It’s maybe a mile off I-95, but was well worth the stop. When we entered, we were greeted by the staff who were very eager to make us feel welcome. The menu is a good selection of sandwiches and pizza. We notice that they had a lunch combo that is a cheese steak, order of fries, and can of soda for just under $12. Never one to resist a good deal, we both ordered the cheese steak combo. After a few minutes, the guy who took our order emerged from the kitchen with two trays with our two sandwiches and orders of fries. You get to select your own drink from a well stocked cooler of various cans of soda (both Coke and Pepsi products). They have a couple of tables outside with sun shades, so we elected to sit outside. The sandwich and fries were both delicious. The meat is cooked perfectly and has just the right amount of juice to make the sandwich succulent but without making the bread soggy. You have a choice of Swiss, white American or cheese whiz. The serving of fries was heaping. We could have split an order and been plenty full. They were cooked and salted perfectly too. This made for a perfect meal after hours of being on the road. I will definitely stop here again, as I want to try their other sandwiches too. The cheese steak will be hard to resist though….This is a great place, as it is low key, the food is simple but delicious, and a great value. A perfect place to stop in the middle of a long drive. I’m sure they do takeout and maybe delivery too. If I lived closer, I would definitely do takeout from here regularly. They make a reliably good deli sandwich for a great price.
Great place. Great food. Good sized portion. Reasonable price.

Their pizza is awesome and I love all of their sandwiches that I've had so far. The customer service has always been nice as well. No frills atmosphere, which I like as well.

The food was ready in a timely fashion and the order was correct. The food itself was average. They have an option for selecting curbside pick-up, but the restaurant doesn't have any designated parking or texts for it, so you have to walk in to pick up your order anyways.

Pricey, could have used more seasoning on everything but good basic American cuisine.

I’m a Long Island native, born with oil and vinegar in my veins, and my mom is a Bronx Latina with New York City so imbedded in her veins you can just fuhgeddaboudit we don’t play around when it comes to a proper hero. We haven’t been back home in ages (my mom’s been galavanting overseas for decades), and let me tell you what…finding a real New York style Italian hero outside the five boroughs? It’s like chasing a unicorn with a gabagool horn.
But then there is Doc Rocco’s. Their Italian sub doesn’t just hit…it sings. Flavor? Check. Freshness? Check. That indescribable taste of Sunday afternoons and family yelling over the TV during Yankees games? Double check. It’s the kind of bite that makes you close your eyes and hear Sinatra faintly in the background.
My mom’s only been in town for a week and she’s already ordered it three times. That should tell you everything. it’s not just the subs though it’s the entire menu, it’s delicious, the place is spotless, and the staff? Absolute sweethearts. Doc Rocco’s doesn’t just serve food, it serves memories. For me and my ma, it’s old memories, for my kids it’s new ones. All treasured just the same.
