Food was very good. Full of flavor. Hamid was very thoughtful and explained all the foods. We settled on the soup, which was thick and full of spices, the hummus was really good, so good we got one to go and the lamb chops with rice. Oh yeah we will definitely be back.
Faryab Kabab is an amazing place for authentic Afghan food. The food was absolutely fantastic, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The shawarma was especially special—honestly one of the best I’ve had. It reminded me of real Kabul-style shawarma, rich in taste, perfectly seasoned, and very satisfying.
It was delicious and memorable. Phenomenal spices and generous portions. We walked in while the were setting up for a wedding— but made time to prepare our order. The combo kabob 3 (#12 with lamb and minced beef). The meat was excellent and the green sauce took it over the top. The rice was sublime and the sautéed spiced spinach made my week. The lamb gyro was superb and so big we have lunch tomorrow! So happy we found this place.
