I have been eating here off and on for about 3/4 of the year, and for some reason, I just seen a post that a lady said the food was dreadful. Their food is actually quite good. I actually refer this place to anyone being one of the three best chinese places in fredericksburg. I've never got any cold food from them ever

Nearly all the food we had was gross. Some of it was somehow overcooked AND cold. The tea they had was disgusting.
The lighting was so dim I could barely read the placemat they had on the table.

TERRIBLE JUST TERRIBLE. very small selection of food and then its cold or over cooked and cold ... This was the worst food I've ever had . I can't believe I paid for it . I warned others not to go in as I left . Down right nasty . Plus why is it so freaking dark in there ?? Is it so u can't see the nasty food your about to ingest . Ew if I could I'd give it 0 ⭐ s

Golden China has been a staple of our community for decades. From economic highs and lows, and even a pandemic, they have remained consistent in their food quality and service. It doesn't get much better than Golden China!

$40 for 3 regular entrees.... sweet and sour chicken, lomein, sesame chicken. Way too expensive for an entree that doesn't come with any sides and drinks. No egg rolls, soup, etc.

The food is ok. Some of the food was really good, others obviously depending on freshness, and some items were only ok. For the money, it wasn't bad. There are only 2 small buffet counters, so there isn't 100 options, but there are still around 15 options. I will eat here again.

Ordered delivery of dinner. Online ordering process was smooth and website easy to navigate. Checkout was also easy.
There was a progress bar to indicate when they received my order at the restaurant to process. I was given an estimated time for delivery, which was surprisingly exact to the minute. (Extra kudos to the delivery man for punctuality, which is increasingly rare to find). Delivery man was friendly, polite, and respectful.
Food was packaged carefully, placed into appropriate containers for the type of food, and separated in the bag. Inside the bag they used layers of cardboard to stabilize it so it wouldn’t turn over and spill. Nothing was spilled. Nothing leaked. I’m very thankful that they did not use styrofoam!
Food was freshly prepared, seasoned authentically, proportions were as expected, and food temperature was consistently hot dish by dish, exactly as if we had ordered in restaurant and had it delivered to the table straightaway. We all concluded the flavors were delicious in every dish (also a rarity).
They also sent a rice paper bag with a generous quantity of typical condiments and fortune cookies. I really appreciated that they bagged those together and didn’t just throw it in the bag like other places usually do.
Note: Chopsticks were not included, and I did not think to ask or look on the ordering site to see if there was an option to request them. I had some already, so it wasn’t important this time.

Placed a delivery order and fxbg get what we ordered. Items were missing. Called the resteraunt multiple times and never got my food or a refund. Beware ordering from them. They will rip you off.

I went today around 3:20 and the service was bad like they had a rush to get me out. The food was cold and stale. I was not even finished eating my second plate when the lady brought the check and said no more right
