The food would have been really good if it had been brought to our table hot and hadn't sat in the window for 20+ minutes. The food was cold, cheese congealed to the plate minus the quesadilla which was the only thing on 2 plates of food that was fresh. The atmosphere was nice, the decor and music was appropriate, the tables though were unusually tall. I felt like a toddler sitting at a high chair. Our server didn't check on us, I had to flag him down for the check. I ordered choriqueso, was charged for choriqueso, but only got a small bowl of queso. Maybe we came at a bad time, but I was not impressed with the service. We probably won't be returning.

The food was good, not great. The atmosphere was nice—loved the Mexican outdoor theme. The service was terrible. We saw our waitress twice basically the whole time. Ran out of drinks for about 20 minutes during dinner —hard even to get water. There are many other better Mexican options in the area

The service was terrible. Our waitress was no where to be found. We had to stop another server to get silverware and napkins when our food came out. We stopped another server to get the check. It appeared the other servers were present for their tables, so not sure what was going on with our waitress. My food was not good. The chicken was dry and food was bland, no flavor. My husband said his food was just ok. This was our first time eating here, we will not go back. $50 for 3 meals and 15% tip. No thanks!

We went to Hacienda El Patrón this past Sunday to celebrate the birthday of one of my closest friends. Our party of 20 was seated with ease — several tables pushed together right in the middle of the main floor. The place was lively, and with multiple large groups dining around us, it was clear this restaurant is a go-to spot for celebrations.
From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how vibrant and fun the atmosphere was. You can tell someone put real thought into every decorative detail — it all felt carefully chosen to create the perfect vibe.
Our server was fantastic — sweet, attentive, and handling multiple big parties like a pro. The drink menu was extensive, with tons of margaritas and cocktails to choose from. I landed on the Peach Clawrita, and let me tell you… it might be one of the best drinks I’ve ever had in my life! 😂 I ended up ordering a second because it was that good. I’m absolutely coming back just for drinks soon.
As usual, my boyfriend and I started with cheese dip, chips, and salsa, and it did not disappoint. For our entrées, we both ordered fajitas, while my little one enjoyed a kids’ chicken quesadilla — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked.
For dessert, I got my son the berry tacos, and they were gone within seconds (the kids loved them!). I also ordered churros to go, which reheated beautifully at home. They were filled with apples — I’m not sure if that’s standard, but it was a sweet surprise and absolutely delicious.
If I had one small complaint, it would be the noise level. At times it was very loud, making it hard to talk to anyone more than a seat away. That said, the mariachi band was phenomenal and added such an authentic, festive touch that it completely elevated the experience.
All in all, Hacienda El Patrón is the perfect spot to celebrate with great food, strong drinks, and lively energy. I’ll definitely be back! 😍

We have been here on a Saturday night and the only thing going on was karaoke OUTSIDE. This time we came on a Sunday at 4 o’clock and they had a mariachi band walking around the inside of the restaurant playing for hours. This place is too small for a live band inside. It was very difficult to hear the person next to me. On top of that the service was ridiculously slow and the food was mediocre at best.

We recently visited Hacienda El Patrón, and overall, the experience was quite good. The atmosphere is genuinely pleasant, especially with the vaulted ceilings that make the space feel open and not at all claustrophobic. That part definitely stood out in a good way.
As for the food, I tried the fish dish, and while it was decent, the tilapia ended up a bit dry and the portion was quite small, maybe two to three ounces of meat. Beyond that, there's really nothing particularly special about the food overall. It’s pretty average when it comes to Mexican cuisine, and while it’s not bad, it doesn’t stand out. So I’d say the restaurant gets a 4 for ambiance, but the food itself is more of a 3 in my book.
