I’m so glad we have a Meadery close by! Good service, great mead and great food!! They also spoiled my daughter and kept coming back to check if she had enough paper to paint with her crayons. Good vibes, you have to check it out!

Haley’s Honey Meadery in Fredericksburg, VA, is a standout spot. From the get-go, you’re welcomed into a cool, relaxed atmosphere that feels like a perfect hangout. The vibe hits the right balance between rustic charm and modern style, setting the stage for a great time.

The mead here is phenomenal. Haley’s offers a wide range of meads that cater to both seasoned drinkers and newbies. The tasting flights are a great way to sample different flavors, and the staff know their stuff, always ready with solid recommendations.

The food doesn’t disappoint either. We had the brunch charcuterie board made with fresh, local ingredients, and everything pairs perfectly with the mead. The bacon, sausage, mini donuts go with the meat and cheeses much better than you would think. It was too much food for the two of us to eat!

But what really makes Haley’s Honey Meadery stand out is the service. The staff are friendly, on point, and passionate about what they do. The alternative 90's music really did set the mood for a fun time.

In our effort to investigate all of the restaurants and breweries in the Fredericksburg area, My wife and I went to Haley's Honey Meadery in Fredericksburg. We both love mead, and jumped at the chance once we found a Meadery in town. My wife and I both ordered a flight of 4 meads. My flight included Five and Dime Warrior, The Patriot, Philosopher's Stone, and County Fair. County Fair and The Patriot were the best of the four. My wife's flight included Blue Devil, which was very good. We also ordered a Charcuterie board. This was huge. It included several different kinds of cheese, meats, crackers, and grapes and apples. We both ate our fill, and there was still enough food left to have the rest at another happy hour at home. The staff was very nice and helpful, and assisted us in choosing meads we might like. When we finished, we purchased 3 bottles of mead. We got The Patriot, County Fair, and Blue Devil. As we were leaving, they were getting ready for a very fun looking entertainment. We will hopefully have the opportunity to go there again.

Food and Mead are GREAT! Staff serves the fabulous food and drink with a BAD ATTITUDE. I would rate the mead alone 5 stars. But seems to interrupt the blonde older lady trips her stride.

They closed 20 mins early on a Friday night. Me and my friend walked there to have a late night drink and there were three people having a smoke outside. Inside was all closed and the doors were locked. Unprofessional.

Really wanted to like this place, drove by it, and decided to circle back around to try it out. Really liked the vibe with the open garage door and patio seating. Ordered 2 flights and of the 8 meads 2 were carbonated and cold. Those 2 tasted good, cranberry ginger and pink lemonade. The other six were flat and warm with varying degrees of overly sweet or the ferment just went past its prime. Really wanted to like the place and the mead, but it's a miss.

What a wonderful Saturday afternoon to go to Haley's and enjoy time with friends. The weather was great so we got to sit outside and enjoy tasters (5 1 oz portions for $8) and flights (4 3 oz portions) of mead and cider. My wife lived the pomegranate mead while I preferred the apple cider donut cider. This place is dog friendly so after your walk downtown it's a great place to chill.

The ½ charcuterie board and ham sliders were more than enough for 2 people. They have several ciders and many meads. This will be our new go to place. We really enjoyed everything we had and the relaxed atmosphere.
