We had our office Christmas party here and we were very well received. Devon took excellent care of us and our food was just wonderful. Everyone has a great meal and a good time. And the dogs everywhere touched a few of us especially. Great place and we'll be back!

We had lunch here yesterday and had a great experience overall. The food was excellent, and the service was friendly and efficient. However, we accidentally left our credit card behind after paying the bill. When we returned today to pick it up, the staff handled the situation with great care. They didn’t just hand the card to anyone…they made sure to verify our identity first. This level of attention to security really impressed us and gave us peace of mind. It’s clear that Harry’s Ale House takes their guests’ trust seriously. Highly recommend not just for the food, but also for their professionalism and integrity!

Disappointed tonight, wings were over cooked - I felt like Clark eating dry turkey in Christmas Vava and they forgot the ranch.

The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. It was our first time here, but now I know why they were voted Fredericksburg's best restaurant and best burgers! They have a lot of rotating beers on tap, as well. My daughter ordered the chicken and waffles (my favorite of the 3 dishes we ordered) my husband had the polish sausages and I had the Texas Burger. We will definitely be back!
Edit 3 years later- we stopped going there. They started giving you a small glass of beer in a bourbon glass which isn't even full for $8-$9 each.

I was genuinely surprised by how good this place was. We were in town visiting family and weren't familiar with the spot. I have a gluten allergy, and the server was knowledgeable, and the gluten friendly options were really good. I actually told my husband that the only suggestion I would make to people would be to sit at the tables rather than in the booths. The booths moved every time the person on the other side moved, and the backs weren't thick enough between sides. We both found that frustrating. If that's the only thing to complain about, though, then I'd say it's about as perfect a place as you'll get! Top notch!
