Each time I visited HomeSpun the time and prices were worth it. The flavor and spices were there with the freshness of the juicy meats! The older man was always sweet and tried offering me ice cream but I just had a taste for their food food. I did plan on trying almost everything on the menu, so I hope this spot is not closing for good! I love trying new things so I tried to put people onto HomeSpun!Vegetarian options: The falafel burger and fries combo was the first order I ever made and - YES!
HomeSpun gets lots of points for trying a new and unique concept. They take Middle Eastern kabobs and serve them as an American Hamburger.The kabob meat was very good. The condiments and sauces were good. The bread was not so good.We really enjoyed the vibe of the place. Service was very good. I suspect it is all done by one person.The price is a bit high.

This place rocks!I went to Virginia for a 3 day stay,and this place has a way of showing that southern comfort u wanna have when u get here.Texture,taste,and quantity is all u will need to feel full for a duration of ur day.I really like this place,and plan to go again.

The "burgers" here are amazing! From beef, lamb or chicken you cannot go wrong!The fries are shoe string fries and had the right amount of crispiness and has a hint of seasoning that made them a top 3 restaurant fry in my opinion.My son ordered the lamb burger and I ordered the chicken kabob burger. The chicken on my sandwich may have been the most juicy tender price of chicken I have had in a long time. The flavor is unmatched!I will be back again to try a new burger!

I stopped by with the family and everything was delicious. We had the chicken shawarma, beef kobob burgers, and the gyro. Staff is very friendly and the establishment was clean. We will definitely go back!

The service was friendly but nothing I ordered was a pleasure to eat. The chicken kabob burger had a lot of chicken, but the sauce didn't work for me. The fries were not tasty either. And finally--even the ice cream had an odd taste and I could not even finish it. I ordered chocolate and it had a bad taste. Was consistent with the entire meal.

Tried for the first time yesterday and the food was greatBoth of our meals were flavorful, the bread for the sandwich was awesome and the sauces topped it all. Loved it we will be back for ice cream too when it gets warmer

Husband and I ate here for lunch. He got the gyro wrap and I got the chicken shawarma wrap. We both thought the food was amazing. The shawarma was so flavorful and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. The portions are huge, and could certainly serve as 2 meals. We got ice cream too to try it and the soft serve was really good but we weren't fond of the coatings. Too waxy for us, but that's our personal preference.
Me and my girl went there for dinner and we got the the lamb burger and the chicken swarma burger. I got a wrap instead of a burger , the fries tasted bad and felt like it was way under cooked or freezer burnt. No ice in the soda fountain, all the sodas were flat and nasty. The lamb was tough as nails and bread was crunchy in a bad way. They could have had a bad day which happens but I would definitely not come back.
