One of the most wonderful dining experiences! You can taste the south in every bite. Scrumptious! The chef and staff are genuinely welcoming, so delightful, and an absolute dream đ Will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend A+++++++++++
We are actually sitting here while I eat having the best, most comfortable meal and friendly conversation with the chef and staff.. Such a great place.. 5 stars all across the board
It was amazing the service was amazing and for a man by himself he was excellent .
Food was really good. Corn bread best corn bread I had . I came in yesterday and just had to order some today for Sunday brunch !
Picture this, saxophone player in the corner, sizzling fryer, and the fluffiest grits of your life. It feels like I rolled into my Aunties kitchen for shrimp and grits. Portion was filling service was great.
Babyyyyy, this food tastes like my Grandmother, my Aunties, AND me got together in the kitchen and threw DOWN! Every bite is seasoned with love, memory, and that real soul.
Trent and Dee are the most friendly people you will ever meet! My hubby and I go there 2-3 times a month for their yummy BBQ and waffle with wings. Itâs a place that will make you feel as if youâve stepped into your dear friendâs kitchen. They kindly host a family game night the last Friday of each month that ups the fun and joy!đ
I went in with a friend and sadl6 we were the only people there. The food was great with large portions. The place is incredibly clean and the staff was real nice. We will he going back. Highly recommended.
They definitely have a vision but it does not make for an enjoyable dine in experience.
The food left a lot to be desired. The staff came to our table to take our plates four or five times when we were not done eating, like they were trying to rush us out.
The place was empty. It was an hour after opening.
It is more an industrial kitchen and seems like their focus is large events and catering.
We won't be back.
Delicious food, friendly service, super clean atmosphere, and we love that the restaurant is also a force for good in our community.

Great service and food
First, I must say the young lady at the cash register needs some customer service training because I was standing waiting to place my order for quite a while before even acknowledged - first impressions matter. When the gentleman, who was the owner, attempted to assist me I had to change my entire order because apparently ribs are not an everyday menu item. My advice is to put that info on the website then we could have decided to visit another time. He left after I had to see if my daughter still wanted to eat there because we both wanted ribs. The young lady finally came to the cash register, she then answered the phone, took an order, as if I had not been waiting 15-20 minutes to take my order. Since I was there I ordered fried chicken - here is the reason for a 2 star review (1 star goes to Delta Sigma Theta sorority) the greens were sweet and bland, the macaroni and cheese was just that - not soul food that I am used to macaroni and cheese, sweet tea tasted like it was mildewed; however, the wings were fried to perfection. I paid extra for macaroni and cheese and was given a tablespoon of it but a whole large container of âsweetâ greens that I had to trash. Now from reading other reviews, I notice the lack of attention and accountability from whomever is reading and responding. Thatâs ok. I drove all the way from Waldorf, Maryland for soul food, particularly, ribs and received mediocre food. I am allowed to voice my opinion. Now, I will probably try the restaurant one more time to determine if this was an off day or not. For today, the food was mediocre and the service was poor. Very clean place though and the Deltas had a good presentation while I was there (thatâs a star for the Deltas).
Horrible service and treatment of employees is preposterous!
Feels Like Home!**
HOPE Heroes Southern Kitchen is easily the best brunch spot in Fredericksburg. The food is outstandingâwings, brisket, ribs, mac & cheese, Belgian waffle, and those unforgettable HOPE cakes (bye Paula Deen).
But the vibe? Even better. It feels like you're sitting around the table with family. The staff is incredibleâwarm, caring, and a reflection of the heart behind the owners, Trent and DeeDee Stinson.
Even more powerful is their mission: H.O.P.E. = Helping Other People Eat, feeding the community while serving amazing food.
Don't miss this place. Local or visiting, GO.
