This was my first time eating here and I’m very happy with my meal. For the past few years I noticed how hard it is to find good Chinese food. I drove 20 minutes to get my meal and I don’t regret it at all. At first, I was skeptical because I didn’t want to be disappointed. Very relaxing ambient music, large portions, and homely staff. The restaurant doesn't have much foot traffic, so it's an environment ideal for romantic dates or some time spent alone.
So, first time ordering from Hunan Garden Chinese early Jan 2025. Was very nice, our go-to has shut down, so we've tried a few new places. Rates a solid 4.5 on the food, but not quite a 5. The crab Rangoon is the best we've had around here, as was the pork fried dumplings which were quite different from the norm, they are like jumbo dumplings cut in half and awesome.
