Start with this: the blonde lady was SWEET and genuine, and kool. The fries, which was all i ate, came with phenomenal mayo stuff!

1st time there, although i have been walking passed it for 15 years now.
I felt super judged and stared at by one particular waitress. And then the other patrons seemed super annoyed by bourbon presence at the bar so much so we moved to a booth.

I will try again!

Bland food and service on a slow afternoon.

Cool pub with dining room. I didn't eat there, but my buddy met me there had a burger, said it was awesome. An eclectic collection of stuff on the walls. Cool old building. Good bartender.

Unbelievable food, service and quality.
The onion peddles alone are a starter for 3 or more.
Burgers were top notch.
It was catered to very well, plenty of attention, time to plate was unexpectedly fast.

Nice little gem of a bar.

I sat outside on the patio for lunch. I went with a friend and we really enjoyed the outdoor space. We were able to sit and catch up while enjoying the beautiful weather. The waiter was very nice and attentive.

Came for lunch, such a great spot downtown, food was delicious, service was awesome, there wasn’t a lot of people in there during lunch so was a little worried, had zero need to be! Everything came out fresh and hot! Highly recommend!

Kid-friendliness: had cups with lids for the kids, good ambience for and they were accommodating of them!

My wife and I were walking around on First Friday and were so hungry. We both ordered burgers. She said hers was great, but the Hanover w/o cheese was life changing!! Best burger I've had in years! OH, and there's an amazing patio in the back with live music!!

Ordered a beer and the taproom burger on a Monday night. It was slow with no one inside and just about four tables outside. The burger was obviously fresh (not frozen), a definite plus, but lacked any seasoning. It had such potential. As far as the waitress, after dropping off the food, I never saw her again until I was well past finished. It would've been nice for a check in or offer to get another beer. Truly a missed opportunity.

Not my favorite place - I tend to prefer restaurants that season their food. I ordered the fish and chips after reading a few good reviews, but those posts must have been written by people who haven’t been introduced to salt or pepper. I forced myself to finish one cod filet but couldn’t bring myself to choke down the rest. Fish had zero flavor and breading had zero flavor except for a mild after taste of burnt batter. The rest of the food was disappointing, but at least those were mostly disappointing flavors rather than just mouthfuls of flavorless texture of fried cod.

Loved their ruben on marveled rye! It’s in the heart of historic Fredericksburg. Service was excellent along with the food. Highly recommended this place.
