Great little spot for a chill, delicious meal! I'm partial to the spicy side and curry, from which I've enjoyed all items. However, my absolute favorite is the Ox Tail Stew on the weekends! Menu continues to evolve... Brisket next...?

Myself and sister had an overall wonderful experience. The staff here are very down to earth type people. However the dining area was very narrow. It was cold out. So eating outside dining wasn't an option. The food was ok. However I have never eaten stewed oxtails and felt the heat game from the spice was on ?. Not a big fann of stewed oxtails. Wish there were more options in the flavor of the oxtails.

J*** chicken, brisket tacos, sweet potatoes and beans are all on point. Chicken falls right off the bone and that taco is an experience by itself. The guys are very nice, great music and the establishment is clean and up to date.

6 of us came in on Saturday. This was our third visit. We had oxtails, curry chicken, curry shrimp, fried whiting. Mac and cheese, green beans, rice, corn on the cob. Also coco bread. All of it was DELICIOUS as usual and the staff there is always nice. Always a good vibe.

I have tried most everything on the menu and it all was superb! Friendly service,, meal is always fresh. You must try their ribs and the Curry shrimp!

After spending over $150, my experience was absolutely disrespectful. I asked the Chef to please allow me to check our orders before bagging them and he turned around and ask my "why do you want to check your food"? I replied " don't you check your food before taking it home to eat and he replied " me I'm the chef so I don't have to check it. Then I brought it over to the counter to check and he comes over to tell me that he doesn't want me to check my food on the counter and I should move over to the table and check my food. I explained to him that this was my first time coming to the restaurant and he said " well this might be your last time". HE WAS THE MOST DISRESPECTFUL EMPLOYEE THAT I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY LIFE!

I used this restaurant to cater my mother’s party and everything was delicious! It was delivered on time and everyone kept on about how tasty each item was! The Cuban pulled pork was amazing, the Island chicken, rice and peas, even the Mac and cheese had the best spices that made them a whole different experience. I can’t recommend them all below so I will do it here because the potato salad and the white rice made with coconut milk were excellent too! There were quite a few people going back for seconds and thirds! Most of us were Caribbean so this was a huge compliment. We got everything we wanted and the price worked out better than the other types of restaurants we tried/ and got quotes for. Thank you, Anthony and the rest of the staff!

O.M.G. So good. Food is put together when you order. We had wings, ribs, 1/4 chicken. All come with two sides. Mac and cheese like you never had before (Fridays and Saturdays only for the macNcheese). They have spicy and mild to taste. Sweet tea is really good too. Coors Light, Yuengling, Models, Red Stripe, Corona Extra, Guinness and Heineken in bottles. Sides were all phenomenal. You really need to come check this place out and support a local small business... you will not be disappointed!!!

Hands down the best place to eat in the entirety of Fredericksburg. Every single thing on the menu is fantastic, every side, everything. It may be actually my favorite thing in Fredericksburg. Jerks of the Carribean is simply the best.

This place should have all five star reviews the customer service was amazing the place was super clean and the food was authentic and the portion size was very good. They have some authentic Jamaican sodas we’re authentic the same ones I saw in Kingston. They give different flavor options from spicy all the way down. I would highly recommend this place if you want a little taste of Jamaica. I take Jamaican food very seriously. Also the callaloo was perfect!

Very delicious Caribbean style chicken. I added rice & black beans. Our table tried other sides too & we loved them all. Owner is very friendly with a great smile.It was our first visit - we are not local but will come back when we visit the area again.

It wasn't what I expected. The staff was friendly and patient, they even brought out my food to me when I was waiting outside. But I was a bit disappointed in the food and portion size - one small drumstick for $11. This was nowhere near j*** chicken... Honestly it just seemed like boiled chicken- no color to the meat or rice just some salt and pepper on it (I even asked for extra j*** sauce, it's a good thing I did because it was watery) ? the rice absorbed all the oil from the chicken and it was just a unpleasurable. Where was the flavor and seasoning??? I'll have to stick with going to Richmond for my authentic j*** and oxtails. I'm always happy to support a black owned business but this was a no for me.

I had my share of of foods from California to the heart of NYC. Soul food to Jamaican/Caribbean. Being new Fredericksburg I didn't know what to expect. Now I have a spot I can count on when I get my Caribbean craving. Ox tail falling off the bone, greens, potato salad, plantain over rice hit the spot. I totally recommend this place.

Friendly folks and fantastic food. The wife and I split a quarter chicken with greens, plantains and coco bread. It was all pretty amazing. Well spiced and juicy without being painfully hot. We'll be back for sure.
