J's Pizza & Subs Café

I ordered a pizza at 5 o’clock. It’s now 9oclock and still don’t have my food.
If I was you reading this I would find another pizza place. Since the new ownership, this place has gone downhill fast.

We just enjoyed an excellent lunch there today. I got the Chicken Supreme Sub and husband got the Meatball Sub. They were both loaded, messy, and delicious! Thank you!

Oh my gosh this pizza is great, can't wait to have it again! Got the polpette and buffalo chicken pizzas, awesome. Also got toasted ravioli and mozzarella sticks! Really really good.

This is about the tenth time I’ve ordered from J’s. Nothing has been ready when it claimed to be and nothing has been delivered on time. Current order was placed for delivery and cancelled on the Slice app. When I reordered for pickup, I arrived at the pickup time only to find out that they were out of wings and could not fulfill the order. Waste of time. Waste of gas. That’s it for J’s. You get no more of my business.

This is really more a complaint as to an item as opposed to the business. The steak and cheese is pretty misleading, and while I will grant I should have read the ingredients, the picture displayed is also just wrong. When I think of steak and cheese, or philly cheese steak, I think meat, grilled onions, peppers, and cheese. And evidently whoever put up the site agrees, because that is what is shown. However it's actually steak, cheese, mayo, tomato, onions, and lettuce. Again, my fault for not reading the ingredients, but not even having peppers when your picture shows them is a bit disappointing. And the other items are just a bit much, the sub was extremely wet, like dripping grease and water wet. Every bite was a mouthful of liquid, and the onions were slightly underdone. Bottom of the sub was just mushy bread with how wet it was. I might try something else or modify the order i the future but as a first experience, not great.

Love the food and service at J's. Make it a point to stop there when we are in Fredericksburg.

As someone who has worked in a neighbouring business for 9 years I have visited Js establishment many times. Have known all owners including OG Jay.
The new owner of Js is hands down most friendly and accommodating!!! The menu has also changed with the change of owners and this to date is the BEST!!! They have managed to keep the best items that have been added and have added new items such as their Chicken line..with spicy chk tenders and sammies they are purrrfect for those who luhv their spice because they offer levels of hotness!!!
If ever I have an order issue they are so polite and quick to correct. HANDS DOWN BEST mama-pop restaurant for your pasta pizza apps and salads! And their crazy HOT chk items!

Not as good as it once was ordered steak and cheese it was good but not enough meat and cheese more bread and lettuce they have changed maybe Bidenomics has hit them just like everybody else glad he gone

The service was quick and reliable! The food was amazingly delicious and exceptionally prepared. I requested extra sauce AND it was included. Everything was well prepared and packaged. FIVE STARS!

I've had so many things from here everything is amazing and I mean AMAZING, fresh ingredients, some of the best subs and the chicken and waffles to die for love this place.

I use to order Jay about twice a week before it was bought out. I was extremely satisfied I really loved the food a delivery was great. If not able to be delivered I was notified. Food is not as well prepared under new I owner and some of my favorites they no longer offer so I no longer order as much maybe 1 time a week now. Last week my order said was delivered but it wasn't this week said delivery time about 40 minutes ok thats understandable it's Saturday. However the order took over an hour which I would still been ok with if that was the time I was given and since the week before said it was delivered but wasn't.
