For a local brewery the Service and ambiance is very nice. It's worth a visit. Not more than 20 minutes out of your way type of visit. The beers are okay, pinball is cool.

Maltese is a brewery that is not only confident in who they are as a business, but it's a local favorite. You definitely get that small town brewery vibe from the moment you walk in. We went on a busy night after rock climbing, so it was pretty crowded. We didn't make it to the back near the pinball machines, but it seemed like a fun space. It was trivia night, so everyone l was grabbing their beers. The staff all seemed a little frazzled by the crowd, but we're friendly in trying to help us. We had to correct them once when they gave us the wrong pour, but they quickly fixed it and we weren't charged wrong for anything so there's nothing to complain about. I was happy they were so willing to fix the issue. They let us try the beers we wanted before getting them. I went with the sour that was on tap. It was really nice! A smooth, but bitter beer that went down easily. I loved the wide selection of beers. I feel like most breweries go heavy on IPAs, but I am not a fan of them so it's always good to have other options to enjoy. Maltese feels like a family-owned business that welcomes you as family as soon as you enter the establishment. There were people with their pets there, lots of laughs, and good vibes all around. My family frequents this brewery, so I'm sure I'll be back again.
