Love this place! This is our go-to for birthdays and other celebrations. The food is amazing and the staff is friendly. A bit on the pricy side but its worth it! (:

Place is huge, but very well decorated. The feel of a 1940’s era steak house with very long bar. Prime rib was the thickest I’ve ever seen, but perfectly cooked. Waiter was very professional and attentive, similar to the best Prime steakhouses I’ve been to in Chicago or Omaha.

Olde Towne had been a Fredericksburg staple for fine dining for all the 4 decades that I've been an adult. Top notch. Thanks Hyon!

Although I was not pleased with my broiled meal, my dinner mates really enjoyed their fried seafood platters.

I’ve always wanted to try this place out, because everyone raved about the food and how the portions are huge. I should have seen the red flags when my salad came with plain iceberg lettuce and nothing in it but 2
cherry tomatoes and 2 thin slices of cucumber. I got the crab cakes and they would have been good had they not been soo mushy. My husband got the Delmonico steak and it was soo thin and gristly and tough. Was tough to cut with the steak knife as well. He said it was comparable to getting a steak at Denny’s. Overall, a huge disappointment, save your money because it’s not worth it!!

This restaurant has been my favorite, but on this visit the service was good and the food was somewhat of a disappointment. The
The crab cakes were breaded and tasted like it was processed. The sour dough bread has been changed to dinner rolls that I buy from the supermarket. The house salad was just lettuce and tomato that was it. I always get the Crab Imperial and that has
not changed it is still great, My husband's fried seafood platter
was a disappointment. I know that prices have changed when
it comes to pretty much everything but if you are going to have
5 star prices you have to serve 5 star dinners.

Very Pricey! But we left very Full! Started with a cup of Lobster bisque, very good, just the right spice to it. Had the stuffed flounder, really stuffed! I had to pick out a few shells from the crab but it was so good. Also we ordered the Seafood Norfolk, the shrimp are huge! Come with a big wallet and empty stomach, you will be pleased. When we come back through the area, I will have to try the Prime rib. It looked amazing.
It was a nice upscale atmosphere, large bar and a beautiful design.

I was really surprised at how beautiful the interior is! Really great atmosphere, food and service. I had the escargot and stuffed flounder and both were very good.

Excellent meal. Service was outstanding. Super relaxed atmosphere.

The food was very good. We had seafood, not their prime rib or steak. Our server was very nice & attentive. Cocktails were right on. They were a little slow on the uptake for a Saturday night, but it turned out fine.
We were passing through town and thought we'd try it. We might try something else next time.

Service was incredibly slow. The waiter was a very nice man but did not understand English. Had to order things two and three times before they got it right. The orders came out wrong. One of the steaks was overcooked. The prime rib was overcooked and the waiter could not understand what kind of salad dressing was required. And the bill with tip was over $320 for three people and two of the people split one meal. The only alcohol was three cocktails that were $17 apiece. Outrageous and we will not go back.
