Hadn't been here in a while and thought it was closed as its Orleans Bistro signage was not on and therefore, not visible from Rt.1. Anyway, really enjoyed our dinner. Crab dip appetizer was loaded with crab meat, the southern fried chicken was as it should be with portion size being half a chicken and the catfish was smothered with an excellent crawfish etouffee. My Family is from New Orleans so I am always skeptical of New Orleans inspired restaurants. No more, they are legitimately the best. The red beans had me at spoon 1. You won't go hungry, the portions size is more than 1 meal. Everyone was nice, or server Jaden was sweet. We will be back many times over.
Some of the best food the region has to offer. Their Mac and Cheese is absolutely perfect. Not oily, not seized up with crumbs, not dry. Rich, flavorful, and just enough of a sharp bite to keep it interesting. I've eaten here several times and never had a single bad bite. Another highlight of the menu is the pork chops with smothered gravy. Amazing depth of flavor, and a large enough portion to provide a lunch that reheats well the next day. Delicious.
