WOW! Orofino has always been my favorite restaurant in Fredericksburg! The gluten free options taste magical!!! I had the best meal today. I started with the green pea soup. It was the perfect starter! It was light and flavorful with a little crunch on top. Then for dinner I had Orecchiette Bari with gluten free pasta. It was INCREDIBLE! The flavors were perfect! I was full, but I had to keep eating because it was so good! Not only was the food perfect, so was our server! Josh F was fabulous! His energy was amazing and made an already perfect dinning experience even better.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Fred. The food is delicious and there are lots of options for different diets (I’m GF and eat there just fine). I’ve loved everything I’ve tried here & highly recommend a visit - just make sure to save room for the affogato!

This restaurant is a gem! My wife and I went for dinner on a date night. Parking is easy, the atmosphere is understated, pleasant, and not cramped. The staff was very kind and attentive without being annoying. Finally, the food. It is spectacular! The best Italian we've had since Italy. Featuring each region is a wonderful idea and house wine selection is excellent. I highly recommend the Risotto Salsiccia e funghi. It is divine! It amazes me how great the food is at such reasonable prices. You need to try this restaurant. You won't regret it!

So, Over all the meal was well seasoned ( pasta Orecchiette Bari with meat sauce ) Al dente however, the sausage chunks! Was full of fennel as the immediate flavor and not very Italian to have suck a strong fennel flavor. Jack R. Made the experience pleasant and he wasn’t my server. Hats off too JRS

I feel awful, I have bypassed this restaurant for years. Shame on me! This place is the Italian restaurant my husband and I have looked for for years. Andi was our server, we could not have asked for better. Kind, thoughtful, friendly and made excellent suggestions. We split a bruschetta appetizer, my husband had the gnocchi, I had the orechetti. Perfect al dente! Chocolate hazelnut dessert was purest heaven. We will be coming back, and we will bring friends. Thank you Orofinos! Must try, Fredericksburg! (And ask for Andi 🙂)

Wow! Orofino honestly exceeded all my expectations. First off, the restaurant is absolutely charming, the perfect place for a romantic date night. The service was the best I've had in a long time. Our server, Jefferson, was amazing. Informative, polite, attentive, and super friendly. I was genuinely impressed with him! And the food?! Delicious, great portion sizes, flavorful, fresh!! I cannot say enough about how great my dish was. Even the Gelato was perfect (cookies and cream, yum!). The only negative? I'm not a Fredericksburg resident, so I can't visit more often!

Orofino is one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Fredericksburg. The food, service, and atmosphere are all 5 star. My friends always ask to have dinner here whenever they’re in town. The outside patio is cozy and intimate.
