We arrived about 30 minutes early for our reservation and despite being busy with a wait they managed to get us seated very quickly. Despite the room we were in being fairly loud the ambiance was great and we had a great time. The food was exquisite, easily some of the best pasta and pizza in Fredericksburg, and our waiter was attentive and helpful without hovering. We would highly recommend Orofino to anyone and especially trying something off the rotating monthly special menu.

When you go to an Orofino restaurant, you expect absolutely delicious food in pretty robust quantity...which was the case! The host was the owner, Danilo, and he went over and above what is expected from an owner. Took time to speak with numerous clients, made sure everything was up to par for every single guest. Our server Josh was phenomenal!

Fabulous dinner celebrating my grandson turning 21. I lobster ravioli and a sm salad. My husband had a steak, cooked to perfection. My grandson had toscano chicken, he loved it! Plus we had drinks all around.

Orofino is single-handedly the best restaurant in Fredericksburg. The food is all one of a kind, homemade recipes. The specialties are always delicious, and their self labeled wine is a must as a house warming gift or a bottle (or two) for the table. Honestly, it’s where I recommend everyone goes if they’re looking to try something new. You’ll never have to look for another restaurant after going.

Wonderful Italian dinner! Lasagna was freshly homemade with a true Italian red sauce. The spaghetti carbonara was so rich and well-prepared that I almost couldn't convince my dinner partner to share bites! Salads were thoughtfully done. There was a good selections of wines.

Great place to go on a date. Enjoy a nice quiet evening with an awesome view of the harbor. The food was delicious. The service was outstanding and the ambience perfect. I recommend and will be returning.

The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. We were seated immediately. We waited some time for our server to come to our table. When he did he seemed rushed despite the fact the restaurant was not busy. Our appetizers were served long before our drinks, all of our food was lukewarm, like it had sat for a while before being served. After our food was given to us it took 10 minutes to get our server's attention to get parm and pepper for our entrees. We were never checked on, never offered more drinks and never saw our server to request them. It seemed as if the staff were more focused on doing side work and getting ready to close than taking care of us. Lastly we were seated near the kitchen and could hear the staff talking. I'm no prude but the amount of swearing that was audible in the dining room was unprofessional. Would I give them another chance. Sure. Everything tasted great, I jut wish it had been hot and we had had a server we could have had service from.

We love Orofino- each time we have come and been treated to amazing service and authentic Italian food. My husband loves to try the monthly regional specials and we have never been disappointed. Our server, Luca, is so welcoming and professional- switching between English and Spanish to communicate with everyone at our table. We highly recommend enjoying dinner out on the patio.
