My favorite place to get simple sushi rolls, the staff are always really nice 💖 Food comes out relatively quickly and always tastes great

The people were friendly and attentive here, however I was pretty disappointed by the food. Aside from the Sushi Bento box, the nigiri, miso soup, and unagi don just didn’t seem to be good value items for the price.

Got 3 rolls, some edamame, a miso soup and a couple sodas. Overall good experience. Great location downtown fxbg. I loved my two rolls, my wife didn't care too much for hers. I got the haru roll and the salmon rainbow roll. I thought both were really good. Wife got the shrimp tempura, and it was just fried shrimp in rice, whereas she expected avocado and other ingredients inside.

I have visited this restaurant several times and always appreciate the welcoming atmosphere. However, I noticed that the owner often treats me as if it were my first visit, which can be a bit disappointing, especially since we had a pleasant conversation about the restaurant’s name during my last visit. That said, I understand, as the restaurant is popular and often very busy with many guests, including those waiting for a table.
Today, I ordered chicken katsu, sushi, and udon, and I genuinely enjoyed everything. However, I found the rice to be less satisfactory; it had the taste of being cooked a day prior. I visited around 12:30 PM, shortly after they opened, so I had expected the rice to be freshly made. Given that sushi is likely their main dish, I believe that the quality of the rice is crucial. While I was okay with the rice served with the sushi, it didn’t quite meet my expectations alongside the chicken katsu.
I know that people who eat rice often really care about its quality, just like those who enjoy bread understand how important it is. I sincerely hope the restaurant can enhance the quality of their rice, ensuring it is always fresh for customers.
Aside from that, I want to emphasize that everything else was excellent. The staff were kind and attentive, and the service was quick. Thank you for a lovely dining experience!

My husband and I came here tonight to celebrate my birthday. This was our third visit. Our server was so sweet and informative, I didn't catch her name. The sushi was fantastic! I can't comment on their hot/cooked meals because we've never ordered any before. Their pricing is reasonable for good sushi but may be surprising if you don't know standard sushi prices. They have a good selection of sake and the atmosphere is cozy. We will continue coming back.
