Ensure to check your pizza before leaving for pickup. Ordered a Tavern Pepperoni Duo extra cupped pepperoni, got home, and only one type of pepperoni was on there (not even double). Also severely overcooked. I got a half apology and almost didn’t get a refund until I pressed for a receipt… Use a different Pizza Hut

We ordered a pizza, breadsticks, and wings—only to see our delivery driver stalled at Wawa for a long time AFTER picking up our pizza. It seems as though he was picking up another order. We texted him to ask if our food will still be hot. No reply. Once received, all food was cold as expected. We called the store for them to rectify the problem, only to be told by the manager that it was not their problem. She said to bring it back up there and they would make new food while I waited even longer. I said fine but I wanted a refund on the delivery charge. She laughed and said no. So now she has me on hold for 20 minutes so far.

I placed an online order for a large thin-crust pizza and was given a regular crust instead. Before driving back, I tried to call the store four times with no answer. I then drove back to the store to clarify, only to be told they were out of large thin crusts. Instead of offering a reasonable alternative right away, I had to suggest options myself. Eventually, they agreed to remake the order.

While waiting, I witnessed very concerning food safety practices. An employee named Cole, who was unpolished in his behavior, handled equipment and cleaning supplies barehanded, then immediately began preparing my pizza without gloves. When I questioned him, he admitted he was not wearing gloves. According to the Virginia Food Code, employees are not allowed to use bare hands when handling ready-to-eat foods such as pizza crusts and toppings — yet that is exactly what happened in front of me.

On top of that, McKenna tried to fabricate a story by saying they attempted to call me about the crust issue. I showed her my call log, which had no missed calls from them, but it clearly showed that I had made several unanswered calls to the store. That lack of honesty only made the situation worse.

As someone who is food service licensed, works with the health department, and runs a family restaurant, I take these violations seriously. In my restaurant, employees are required to wear gloves at all times when handling food and to constantly switch gloves to avoid cross-contamination. Failure to follow this standard results in a verbal warning, a written warning, and finally termination. That is the level of accountability I expect from any food establishment, and it is the standard Pizza Hut should uphold.

When I requested a refund, McKenna initially had an attitude and only became polite after I stated I would be reporting the issue. I was told I would receive a refund within 24 hours but had to specifically ask for a receipt as proof.

This was the most unpleasant experience I’ve ever had at this location. I have ordered from here many times, and until now they have always worn gloves and maintained proper standards. To make matters worse, this order was supposed to be dinner for my family during our movie night, and I ended up having to make other arrangements for food.

Overall, this experience was unacceptable:
• Wrong crust provided and no proactive solution offered.
• Employee preparing ready-to-eat food without gloves, in violation of the Virginia Food Code.
• Fabricated story about calling me, despite proof from my call log.
• Poor professionalism from staff, including an unpolished employee and another team member who only showed courtesy after I mentioned reporting them.
• A sharp decline compared to the safe and professional service I’ve consistently received at this location in the past.
• Corporate office and management need to review cameras and enforce food safety policies immediately.

I expect better from Pizza Hut—both in customer service and in consistently following proper food safety requirements.

I don't know what any of these people putting one star reviews are talking about. Carla our server was fantastic! She was respectful,funny,kind and very talkative compared to other servers I have met,she greeted us in with a smile and sat us down. For 2 drinks,2 salads and a large supreme deep dish pizza was only 35 dollars, as a bonus there was a drive thru if you would like to go theres a salad bar and you can eat inside where are other pizza hut you usually can't.there wasn't many people around but the few that were there were very quite which i understand because it was a gloomy day out. and the pizza was delicious it was nice hot like it had just came out of the oven and it was probably the best pizza I have ever had. I would definitely recommend this pizza hut !.

Diana was so rude!! I ordered for the wrong store, clearly I understood my mistake; I ordered on app which is cheaper which I offered to re order, one of the associates offered a free pizza, well when I accepted she came around going off on me like I was trying to steal from the store even though I offered to re order knowing initially it was my fault. I proceeded to let her know that I didn’t like the way she was speaking with me and she instead interrupted me to tell me 1 large pizza is 22.00 when I paid 9.99 on app which once again I said I would. Diana needs to go.

I ordered on line paid for delivery it never ca.e went to the store with my receipt and confirmation number the woman was rude to start with wouldnt even look at the information the guy chimed in lying saying he was the store manager after he told me she wasn't there. I was informed they were not going to do anything bc it's a glitch in the system very unprofessional. The woman should not be working in customer service she seemed to be more in a hurry to go home then to help us. Your supposed to honor your customer especially when it's your company's fault they refused to offer the corporate number or the store manager information

The manager Crystal was subpar. Our initial order of pizza had no cheese or no sauce. After complaining it was agreed that we could come get pizza to replace it. However Crystal decided to escalate the complaint to trespass. If you want decent pizza and customer service, do not go here.

If I could give zero stars, I would. The customer service at this Pizza Hut is nonexistent. The staff act like you’re ruining their day just by showing up. Calls? Put on hold forever. Delivery? Cold, late, and wrong. Walk-in? You’ll stand there like furniture while employees avoid eye contact. To top it off, they even forgot to put the marinara sauce on my order—seriously, how do you mess that up? It’s sloppy, careless, and unprofessional. I’ve had better service from a vending machine. Do yourself a favor and eat anywhere else.

me and my family went here for food and we order two pizzas and cinnamon sticks and when we got home to eat the food we realized that all of it was messed up so we call them back and they offer to remake it for us so we were okay so we came back the next day to get it and they told us come back the next day due to their systems being down and that’s fine i had my daughter call in to get the food remade and they lady on the phone had the worst attitude with us and lied to us multiple times she got hostile with us on the phone and started to get mad and at that point we were upset and told her exactly what we got told by their employees the day before and she said that never happened and so we asked her to check the cameras and she yet again got upset and said she didn’t have access so we asked to speak with her manager she said she didn’t have one and then hung up on us due to her getting upset.
