Husband got chicken mole—chicken was very very dry like it was reused. I got Chicken Nachos—chicken again was very very dry; menu indicated the nachos came with pico; it came with ONIONS with very little pieces of tomato; just tasted like ALL onions. We asked our waiter about it and he said that’s their pico. So we ordered a side of pico and it had onions, tomatoes, and cilantro. NOT what was on the nachos. I learned how to make Mexican food from my mother-in-law; I know how to make pico—restaurants are getting skimpy with ingredients and trying to call dishes something they are NOT! Very disappointed!

Saw this restaurant while driving towards our hotel after exiting I-95N. It looked festive from the street with outdoor seating, colorful umbrellas over the tables, etc. Also, we had our small dog, Tofu, with us and it was a great place to sit outside for dinner on what was an unusually mild
Summer evening. My wife ordered an Avocado and (grilled) Chicken salad. Very tasty and plentiful. I ordered Enchiladas Mexicana which had 1 beef, 1 chicken, and 1 cheese enchilada each with a different sauce. Wow, very flavorful. Service was great and the beer was cold. There is a good ice cream shop next door, too. This is a very good place, friendly, and not super high prices.

I love this restaurant. I will make my husband drive past the other, closer Rey Azteca to come to this one. Their flautas? Chef's kiss.

They have great difficulty getting orders correct. If you order carry out, check your food before leaving. Don’t rely upon having the front end staff repeating your order correctly or having it shown correctly on the ticket.

I ordered for pickup and noticed I received the wrong order. After I called to get a refund they said they could not do it and hung up on me. Terrible customer service

Clean restaurant, Great service, Outstanding food. DELICIOUS 🤤
So far best Mexican food I've tasted around VA
Alpastor and Carne asada are juicy and flavorful, the decoration set up the atmosphere well. Didn't get to try their aguas frescas but I will next time
Daniel and family make this place a great place to eat. They're quick amd the food tasty.
Ray Azteca is a consistent family favorite. The food is a cut above standard mexican restaurant fare, delivering exceptional taste and quality at very affordable prices. Drinks are generous and the service is quick and friendly. Will be back again soon!
This place is amazing and our waiter Daniel made it even better! We frequently visit here and he is always smiling and puts a smile on my face!
