This place seems to be a disaster. Placed an order (and paid) on their site. Get there and out of the fish we ordered. They offered a different type of fish which was close in price (they are unable to refund). Ok fine. Then they were out of the dessert. So that’s another ~$8 of food they are unable to offer. An hour later and we have our food. I’m sure the meal that was available should taste great. Manager offer an extra item to make up for. Finally get home with food just to realize still missing items. Wish I would have listened to the bad reviews and avoided the place.

This is slap ya momma good. I tried it by myself and it was so good, I had to bring my husband and play like I never ate there before. Even he tried it and was like, “Girl!” Loved it!

The food was amazing. Big portions packed with flavor. Delicious ‼️ Got the fish dinner (whiting) with added shrimp. WowParking: Located in a shopping mall. No shortage of parking.

Skrimp Shack has amazing food, great quality and a good price. Don't go there if you're expecting McDonalds prices. You get what you pay for. I've never been disappointed in the many times I've been there. Portions are large, and cooked just for you. No food sitting around under a heat lamp getting soggy.

No slaw? Cold fries , cold sweet potato fries, cold okra, sent it back , then very good, shrimp was outstanding, wife whiting fish , tasted very old, fishie? 38.00 over priced, all employees acted like they were mad at the world! No smiles, a black lady I think is a Manager? I do not know why she is there? No leadership? I do not think she is happy about anything?? This place will have new owners , again, or will be closed, we were ther at dinner hour, no customers? Reasons for that, we live near by, we want this restaurant to make it, I just don’t know how many more times I can spend that kind of money for that??? Good luck

Best seafood spot in the area. Very friendly staff and excellent food every time. I don't mind spending my money here and encourage others to come try them as well. SKRIMP SHACK IS GREAT.

I ABSOLUTELY would NOT recommend this place to eat. I'm sitting outside eating my food that I just ordered and I must admit it was not worth the $15 I spent just now. I ordered a SHRIMP BASKET with a side of Mac and cheese. Not only was my Mac n cheese still cold like it wasn't placed in the microwave long enough but the girl that just took my order couldn't even get my order right because she was too busy talking to the lady that walked in with a bonnet on, whom I believe is either one of the owners or family/friends of the owners with the way she was unprofessionally answering that phone from the other side of the counter.

The only other Skrimp Shack I've been to was the one in Dumfries and that was about 3+ years ago. So, when the one in Stafford (has a Fredericksburg address) re-opened, I wanted to give it a try for lunch. The lady upfront taking orders and working the counter was friendly and greeted each customer that entered. Their menu is pretty easy to understand and they have lots of interesting things, from po boys, to sandwiches to plates. There was a couple in front of me who couldn't decide what to order, yet wasn't stepping aside to let me approach, so I used their kiosk to order (they have a cool touch pad to the left of the main register that's set up as an ordering kiosk with a credit card device there too!). It was quick, easy and asks you most all the options. It took a while for my food to be made, but I wasn't in a hurry. The other issue I have is that they upcharge for everything! OK, so, a PoBoy comes with lettuce and tomato, that's part of the basic item... But they charge 55 cents for a piece (a single piece, check my pic) of lettuce and another 55 cents for tomato! Plus, they charge over a buck, $1.40 for cheese. So, by the time I "built" a basic po boy with cheese on it, fries and an extra side of potato salad, the total came to $20.57!!!! That didn't even include a drink, that was over $2 more! Their food was fresh and tasty, but I'm VERY SORRY to say that it's DEFINITELY NOT WORTH this amount of money! I already told my son I'd bring him home a po boy, he wanted one with crab and shrimp on it. When I was picking it up, I said it was supposed to have crab and she said it did, I pulled it slightly apart to see that she was right! LOL It's was a miniscule amount of crab on the heel of the bread. I brought it home, first thing my son says is "I asked for crab!" I told him there was crab on it. We laughed about the amount of crab. He said it was good, but when he asked me what I paid and I told him, first thing he says is "what a rip off!" Believe me, I don't mind paying a premium for good food, for fresh ingredients and fresh food... but there's a limit to that and this place exceeds the limit. Sorry to say, definitely too rich for my blood (and I'm used to spending over $100 per person for dinner, but that's for a NICE dinner), so I won't be back until they #1 - Reduce their prices and #2 stop itemizing the building of a basic po boy.

Here for dinner at 7:15 all chairs on the table sign on door says they close at 8 . Employee sweeping the floor telling the other young lady behind the counter to put it in a box not to dirty anything else. If you close at 8 pm we should have at least been able to eat and enjoy our meal. Seems like we were not welcome being rushed. food was priced was ok. No need to return. 7:15 on Wednesday 14th of September.

***I have posted the actual store menu (as of 9/11/22) in attached pictures.Waited for a few weeks since the reopening to return here. 4 employees working. The place was clean, order was taken and properly fulfilled in a timely fashion for a Sunday afternoon. Food received for the price paid was acceptable. The large Whiting basket with 4 Skrimp & potato salad was all very good. White cheddar macaroni and cheese was also very good. They have upgraded the tarter sauce from the prior sauce and it is much thicker and very good.*Note to the owner. Remove the recommended tip screen that shows up during credit card check out for dine in. Customer walks in and places order. Customers are required to get their own drinks/lids/straws, napkins, and come to the counter to retrieve there order. Drink refill is again the customers responsibility. That means there is nothing to tip for.*Note this review was completed without using ridiculous un-discriptive terms like out-of-bounds, OMG, on point, awesome, the bomb, yummy, delish, to die for, do your self a favor, trust me, etc.. Describe the food, service (or lack of) and provide details on the cost/copy of check and include pictures! Is the place clean? No one cares about the waiter/waitress names, their abilities, or if they look like they fell face first into a tackle box. They get changed like underwear and you don't get to pick one. No we don't care about your allergies or the need for gluten free food.

First time back to the Skrimp Shack since they opened and was not disappointed.I ordered Carfish nuggets, 8 Shrimp, with a side of potato salad and a large drink.Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh, not over cooked, great flavor. Even the potato salad cause yall know potato saladcan be a hit or miss at some places. But most importantly the customer service was excellent. There was only 3 people working, 1 being the manager and they were working hard to serve all the customers. They just reopened so be patient when ordering but yes, I will definitely be back!

They have a great selection of excellent food. Their service is always on point too.

We did a quick evening order because no one wanted to cook. We both ordered catfish dinners with shrimp and hush puppies. The catfish was decent and the shrimp were my favorite part of dinner. The hush puppies were huge, but bready and could have had more flavor. Good for a quick meal.
