Ordered the 2 crabmeat and shrimp po boys with huss puppies and a drink, was charged $41 ONLY to get a skimp, cheese and one with lettuce and one with tomatoes NO sauce and only 6 huss puppies. Worst Choice Ever!! My first and last time ever. I didn't mind the price for what I was ordering but what I got was FAR FROM $41 worth of food.

Great food and they normally on point but I was cheated yesterday because I ordered a regular fry, and 30 hush puppies but they were out of hush puppies(which is fine. It happens) but then they told me to account for the regular fry and three orders of 10 hush puppies, they gave me one big box of fries which essentially just two regular fries. Each side(4 total) is $3.65. 4× 3.65= $14.60. The Big Box Of Fries is $7. Last time I checked, $14.60 doesn't equal $7. But due to being tired from a long day and in fear of looking like "that customer", I didn't say much and left. They're normally good but that one time sucked

The food is always on point. You can't get better mild- flavored catfish anywhere that I know of. The staff are friendly and always find some way to make your visit a little bit nicer, and that's incredible. Whatever they're getting paid, it isn't enough.That said, the atmosphere is spartan and very generic. It's always been clean and everything has always been stocked and worked properly, but don't look to be wowed by the decor.You're not gonna be here for the decor anyway. Get you some of that catfish and them skrimps and you'll never care about the boring walls.

17$ for a 6 inch shrimp po-boy, fries and a drink. A bit much for plain bread and shrimp. They should add cabbage or lettuce or something to it. The shrimp was good, but plain tasting. Their sauce made it more interesting.

Great seafood. The cat fish basket and the shrimp basket was outstanding. The quality of the food was great. They have a lot of food options to choose from. Also, the pricing was very reasonable. Skrimp Shack will be my go to spot for cat fish and shrimp. **The service was outstanding.

My husband has always raved about this place and today he took me there. I had the grilled shrimp and flounder. It was so good and definitely lived up to his high recommendation. Awesome Food. I highly recommend it.

A lot of food comes with a meal!! I wasn't even able to finish it! And all I ordered was a fish & shrimp meal. Gonna take me another day to finish eating it all. Great customer service. Even the guy cashier with his corny jokes was funny! I loved the experience. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely go back there. Also, just be aware that food is not cooked until payment is made. Very important for call in orders. You have to pay over the phone OR pay inside. Just don't expect to pick up your called in order if you have not paid yet.

The team was once jovial, worked well together, and seemed to have fun Food was always perfect- now- food is ot always cooked well (batter still wet inside) , and orders wrong or missing items. Must have something to do with new management. Needless to say, we no longer place our standard Friday order.

Pulled up to the establishment. My girlfriend went in and ordered take out. She got the fish and chips, I got the fried catfish (The Big Cat). Portions were adequate and filling.
I returned to this establishment today after a year and change. Sadlly, i was completely disappointedI ordered two pieces of flounder and 4 shrimp. To my suprise, the shrimp were just as big as the portions of the fish i received. As a fisherman, i certainly know the legal size of a flounder. I was expecting two whole pieces of fish, what i received was more like a few pieces of fish cut from the whole fish. It was more like fish strips/nuggets. When i committed on the portion size, the young lady, Im going to assume she was the manager tried to make it right, but i just received more of the same, pieces of a whole fish and not the whole fish. Perhaps I am the one who is confused or misinformed. I just thought two pieces of fish implied two fish. I guess the optimal word here is pieces. However, during my previous visits to this establishment and the Richmond location i received what i opioned to be two whole fis, as two peiple ccould have dined from one order. I suppose it is implied that pieces are truly that, pieces! Now my expectations of what two pieces of fish are have been changed forever. The next time i go fishing, if anyone ask, if i caught anything I will tell them I caught a few pieces. In retrospect, i guess this is some frozen product that comes pre cut. Not to say the fish was bad on the contrary, it was tasty for frozen just not what i expected from the Shack based upon my previous experience. So much has changed within these last few years, why should this be any different.

Staff member was friendly and kind, Food was fantastic. The spicy shrimp on my PoBoy was perfect and the crab with spicy PoBoy sauce made it even better. Will definitely be back!

I’ve dined at other locations and have enjoyed the food but my experience at this location was bad. They were out of several items yet they were still available at the self-serve kiosk. The hush puppies were burnt and the whiting taste like it was cooked in old grease. The staff were all pleasant. Very unlikely to return.

We eat here several times a month. My wife and I frequently get the small family bundle, more than enough for two people. Food is very good, great service, good value for the money. We generally do take out, call ahead and it's ready when we get there.
